95% of teens would go into a panic attack if the jonas brothers were about to jump off the empire state building copy and paste this if you are the 5% who would pull up a lawn chair grab some popcorn and yell JUMP BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey it happens. SPECIALLY with a horde army like Orks. Getting burned out comes with the territory. Thats why I spread my painting out. Ill keep a bunch of projects in my head of on the back burner, Ill get sick of painting, so I dig up my ideas and start working on them again. Once I get burned out on that, its back to painting. It seems to keep me moving.
I still have a squad or so of boyz to paint, 5 nobs, my grot warboss and my battle wagon to paint. (they are all black lol) Ontop of those, I have 4 old school rhinos Im converting into trukks. One is mostly done, the other 3 look like old rhinos. So when those are done I STILL have to paint them. My list is fairly long, but enough to not get burned out on.

Ditto Deff Dread and KingCracker.

When I can't stand looking at boyz, I paint a vehicle and it does wonders. When that doesn't work, I model/convert. When all else fails, I make it a point to avoid my painting table for a couple of days, I even push off an extra day when I feel the urge come back. After three days (tops so far) I'm itching to get back to it.

I agree with painting vehicles / dreds for now.

Lots of easy painted metal is a good rest for painting so much green flesh!

When i get stuck with boredom, i paint a boy's pants purple. i don't know why, but it seems to help. It also gets some weird comments from my enemies.

Indeed. Let the enemies of Gork and Mork shake in fear at the sight of my hordes of greenskins in their stylish purple track suits.

When I get bored of painting I work on terrain, when I get bored of terrain I work on painting...I have way to much terrain...

I concur with switching up flesh/units for metals/vehicles. Sometimes when I don't want to paint infantry-types for WM or W40k, I'll work on a Warjack or something else vehicle like.

I take a break with by painting Ork barricades. Always satisfying to be painting stuff that will give you a 4+ cover save.
