Hey guys, I'm moving into a new place soon and I will be setting up a are for painting. Ive been playing wargames for around a decade and I have alot of modeling materials all ready. I saw a post on here once where everyone was posting pictures of the painting areas they used. I'm looking for advice on what people use for their everyday modeling.

Maybe post a pic or a list for me. I have full sets of gw paint and paint brushes. I also have many cans of paint and bottles and bags of flock. All the normal stuff but I wonder what cool stuff I could add to my collection.

Thanks everyone!

I have a folding table and a light in my bedroom, my
wife is getting sick of looking at it so I'm working on
moving to the garage when fall comes.

I use a folding table (card table) in the computer room. I use an Ott light.
I have a TV and a computer nearby.

Rather than describe, here's a picture. I got a nice long table as my desk, gonna be a pain to replace it someday. I suggest having a dedicated area that you can leave stuff around at. Doesn't have to be disorganized. It's good to have stuff in trays or bins, but the act of packing up and unpacking every time you want to paint is one more thing taking your time when you could be working and for some people (myself included) one more excuse to not get started. It's nice to be able to put a project down on the table and come right back where you left off next time.

Not to get off topic, but I don't think I could ever paint in bed. One trick a lot of people who work (or worked) night shift is to use your bed only for sleeping or sex (who does that?!). It conditions your body, something about Pavlov or something . Plus I'd be worried about getting paint on my sheets. Imagine explaining that one to a girl: "I was uhhh, working on my warhammer figures and I spilled some red paint, I swear!"

I dont do a lot of sculpting as I have only just really started doing it, but I find procreate to be a better alternative to green stuff. It also appears to be a lot cheaper to buy as well.
