does anyone know if this figure comes as one metal figure or in multiple plastic parts? I am trying to make my Guard look like they have Trench coats, but with their carapace armour still by making this guy's lower body into a mold and using it for other guardsmen.

Yep one piece, and the reason i got put off cadians

He use to be in the old command squad package,I do belive that,that entire box set was metal so I guess he was to.Yet that is only if I remember right.

huh? Was hardly any different before that. I mean, the cadians before that range came out were all mostly one piece metal, even the infantry.

That's correct.
the old command squad was entirely of metal, only the vox-caster was made out of two parts the body and the vox backpack
the new ones are made of multi-part plastic
