If not quite ready to be recognized
The first batch of proper Dunedin 2nd Rifles infantry is just about done! Still have the basing left to do as well as the divisional markings ( St Georges cross plus rank markings) but otherwise ready to fight
Now to do the rest of the squad
(The mortar crew is my test model from my mortar squad)

The helmets are from Pig Iron Productions. They are the most common company when doing head swaps for guard. They have everything for your guard head needs whether you are doing standard guard all the way to traitors. Also cheaper than anything else out there that I know of.

The Orks are the pinnacle of creation. For them, the great struggle is won. They have evolved a society which knows no stress or angst. Who are we to judge them? We Eldar who have failed, or the Humans, on the road to ruin in their turn? And why? Because we sought answers to questions that an Ork wouldn't even bother to ask! We see a culture that is strong and despise it as crude.

I appreciate the attention to detail on those fingerless gloves. Very nice!

Thanks guys. The heads are indeed Pig Iron Heavy Infantry heads. I got the multi-pack becasue there is another ace helmet in ther with additonal optics.
With the gloves I wanted to do all black gloves but thought that might look a bit boring and blend into the weapons too much.

I'm kinda cheating myself and using Kasrkin as Grenadier veterans I have seen some nice stuff on these boards done quite simply by adding GS knee and shoulder pads. Bulks the model out a bit more, while still allowing you to use Cadian plastics. Maybe add Tau thighs if you feel so inclined? I didn't go that route as I'm lazy and my GS skillz are not mad. Shotguns you can do in various ways by cutting down lasguns or bolters. Alternatively go to Hasslefree or Forgeworld and buy a weapon pack

I'm already using Kasrkins as storm troopers so i'm going to have to come up with something else, I'v seen the forgeworld shotgun packs for veterns so i might go with those, thanks for the tip.
