Well, having been struck with gamer ADD, as many others around here, I started painting my Space Hulk terminators. I´ve decided that I´ll paint them more or less like GW did, for example I´ll keep to their heraldry and such.

However, I will change some things: I have my own recipe for BA armour, and I´ll be sticking with that, since I like it nice and deep. Also, I didn´t much care for the purple gems on them, I felt it was a strange color choice to go with the red.

Now, bear in mind that it´s early days yet, and this is just the first few shots, in no way finished quality. The only part I´m done with is actually the eyes. Still two coats to go on the red, and the metal bits need work, as well as the tabards. But this is the general direction I´m going, and should show you my intentions.

I have the other four from squad Lorenzo done almost to this level as well, they need metal and gold/bronze done though. I´m still trying to work out what to do for bases, but will probably end up doing terminator size bases for them. They deserve some more space for background, and it´ll be fun to see if I can match them to the tiles in the game!

After they´re all done, I´ll give them a coat of matt varnish to seal them, and then ´Ard Coat for the shiny bits. And yes, my fancily cut out foam for the box has been ordered, but has not (as of yet) left the shop. I imagine they´re selling a lot of those..

Anyways, that´s enough of me rambling, on to the pictures!

I quite agree with you about the gems. I was going to go with green too. I think green and red look better than purple and red.
