Hey guys, just got back from GD in Birmingham, and it was awesome. Picked up some Chaos Renegade torsos from the FW stand. After participating in a huge LOTR game, I was awarded the title of 'TrollBane'. I killed a lot of trolls. Anywho, lets look at some pics:

Thanks for the great pics- the SW vs Nids pics are especially cool.
But, I have to ask- was that SoB picture taken in the ladies' room?

We all love getting gallery votes...

10 Points for getting a picture of the lass dressed as SOB in the toilets. She got hounded all day. I have to say I enjoy it, but at the same time I find alot of the adult visitors to GD especially this year are incredibly anti-social, not in an open way but I've never been pushed past and in front of so much in my life, made even worse by the fact, although Im not a child I'm short, and tall, obese people just push past to displays. I actually saw one "adult" push past children in the queue for the store stands. On the flip the staff are ace, and I think the event is pretty ace too.

Cosmic's Mission Objective: Attend Games Day UK 2010. It will be awesome.

It's good to see that people had fun! I am NOT going to miss out next year, though. Hell no... Keep the picks coming, peeps!

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

That SW table/diorama looks amazing! How many people do you reckon attended this year?

I enjoyed it too, first time there and was fairly impressed with the staffers. Some of the crowd however were driving me nuts, talk about being under socialised as a child! And please wash if you know your going to be standing in queues all day!

Dan Abnett and Graham McNiel were both really nice guys (and Mr Abnett took my nickname "Noi" down in his notepad! ), saw Adrian Wood at the poster stand who Im sure was the editor of white dwarf when I was a young un?

Was dissapointed I could spend more time checking out the Pavilion but it became more hassle than I could cope with, and a big thank you to the staffer who ran anout for ten minutes trying to find a card machine so I could finally buy some stuff!

Unfortunately I'm going to have to say this year was my worst Games Day ever. Considering it's the first I've been to for about a decade and the last I'll be able to go to for a few years, that's really depressing. I've whined about it at length already elsewhere, but tl;dr, there was nothing interesting for sale, the events were kinda lame, and the queues for other things were so long none of my group got to do any gaming. Bleh.

I agree with GlauG. last year was so much better. there were to many nubees clogging up the gaming tables.

Although it has been many years since i studied latin, i have been informed by an acquaintance who saw the SoB at Games Day that it is indeed a translation of Peter cottontail on her tabard.

Bless her for making such an awesome effort (and enduring, i imagine, almost profound nerd ogleing for the duration).
