Which pig iron heads did you go for?

It says Kolony militia ones.

Personally, I don't think they'd look too much like ST heads, unless its the closed helmet variation you're buying.

Looks good! quick question though why use gw's inquisitor model? don't get me wrong, yours looks good, but it seems like everyone else seems to make their own.

Im curious about how the ven dread comes out, been thinking about getting one and converting it to chaos.

Hey, I found some stand-in's I could do for the inquisitor lord, all I have to do is spruce 'em upa little.

Mate, are you painting those without an undercoat?

Heya Shrike, go with the terminator model for your inquisitor lord, if you mount a psycannon on it he can get a 3 shots at 36 inches even after moving, it's the only way to outfit an inquisitor (throw in a psychic hood and you've got yourself a party) and dude you really want to think about undercoating your models, paint goes on better and smoother, the colours are deeper and without it you find nooks and crannies that are still showing metal that are hard to clean up at the end

Hey, maby I could do a shoulder mounted psycannon that follows the movment of his head, he has the perfect posture for it.

Oh, and yes, I did not undecoat it but I did that one a while ago when I didn't know the meaning of undercoat

sorry shrike I've got to agree with red9 , maybe use the same colours but in bigger blocks/blotches , I'm keen to see a better pic tho as I'm planning on doing some cammo on my stormtroopers and inducted IG and always like to see examples, and trust me the pig iron heads are totally worth it.

Otherwise, decent start.

The camo looks fine to me, though you could add some detail to it by getting a fine black pen (preferably a draftsman's pen, like a Rotring, rather than a fibretip one) and adding in some tiny dots. This should take away some of the blotchyness and look more like modern camo schemes

And please oh please could correct the thread title (you can do this by editing the first post of the thread)? Its really getting to me when I see it!
