I would say a little too much blood to be honest. It takes away from the paintjob.

Blood? the face is supposed to be warpaint, the guns original colour is scratching off revealing the metal underneath and the trousers are actually a brown in real life, they didn't photogaph well. Anywhere else?

If you're looking for a weathered, rusting look for the weapons, then you would be better using a wash of Devlan Mud. Also, maybe you should use a finer brush for the warpaint, as it looks less like warpaint and more like just messy painting.
It has a potential to be a very interesting paint scheme, just some work is needed.

Also for really good rusting effects. Base in black, heavy dry brush bolt gun metal, light dry brush of a dark red color. Then an even finer brush of blazing orange. Looks perfect, and itll take some of that red out of your minis

Like the effect on the shotgun, but i wonder if it looks right with the rest of the colour scheme having relatively large amounts of reds in it.
Im liking the yellow symbol on the shoulderpad too.

A little part of me dies when it thinks of a puritan Inquisitor reading the Rites of Damnation to a heretic then throwing him off a ladder through a table.

Honestly, it looks like you sneezed red paint all over him. The blood looks well done on the shotgun, but the torso, arms and legs look like orkskin almost. Also, if you want to do effective blood spatters on armor, I recommend not using red armor.

As if on cue, you hear two people singing from the stairwell, and the door is opened and a pair of very smelly, very dirty guardsmen stumble in, completely drunk, and covered in vomit, and immediately collapse unconsious on the porch. You drag them to their beds, realising that they will not be waking up for some time. |

Someone has to be honest. This is VERY messy. I suggest neatening up all of your lines, minimizing the red splatters, and using washes for flesh, metal and fabric.
The colour scheme has the potential to be interesting, but you need to improve your technique.

Looked at it and i thought 'went over the top with the scab red' and then i looked at the comments then released it was blood. So overall i think it doesn't really look like blood and detracts from the painting because of that. To paint blood you need to go higher than scab red to mechrite and blood red. Then after that you could varnish the blood to amke it shiney.
