hey im looking for ideas to make a 4 legged wolf dreadnought type thing for apoc

someoen told me someone did somethign liek this.
can anyone help?

The specific series in the pic is labelled HMM ( High end Master Model )
Its 100% a model and doesnt have anything else.

Ahh sounds pricy and perhaps hard to find? I know I had trouble just looking for some of the normal ones that I wanted to grab.

Its hard to say , its luck i guess 90% its expensive , 10% is cheap . I have won things for $1 lol

I dont think so . Even though zoids are considered toys , they are in every way as detailed as warhammer kits.
the only problem would be finding ones that fits the GW "gothic" style .

Yeah, I think that would be one of the main problems since Zoids is generally directed towards kids the models tend to reflect that. However, I'm sure with some greenstuff and creative cut work it'd fit?

I can't see any easy way to do it using GW kits:
- dread legs (from 2 kits) are too short, unless you can build a whole new shoulder/hip as well
- a Chaos Defiler would be a whole lot of work to deChaosify
- 2 sentinels would give you 4 legs, but they might look too spindly?

Biggerising a Juggernaught could work.
I know that it is metal but a vice and a good saw is all we had back in the good old days and we managed somehow!

Second vote for the Juggernaut. Those things are pretty big... big enough to carry a half dead ancient anyways lol.

I made one using dreadnought and sentinel kits, mainly.

All he needs are some wolf pelts slung over his shoulders and a bushy tail.

What do you do about the base size? Luna, do you want to keep it on a dread-sized base? If so, maybe you could model it more vertically--climbing up a upward-jutting rock, maybe even mid-howl? If your conversion came out well, I'd def be interested in taking it off your hands at some point--that way I could finally own a piece of your work!

This is from BobPanda, he posted all of his space wolves awhile back on here. He's done some INSANE stuff, like a space wolf warhound from just city terrain, various bits and plasticard.

I like colhammer's version more
