I hope you like it, its made of cardboard, an a little plastic. 99% GW bits free

The beggining; i downloaded some sheets, saw then for a minute, throw them and built it as i pleased

The main body. NEVER throw away that little toys of your childhood. nor those old notebooks. They are a gold mine!

The glorious reactors, made with a cardboard tube and some GW empty paint bottles

colour, colour... grey rules, but black is so charismatic... (and it covers the flaws)

Finally i chose spacewolves grey, the sons of fenris would not have forgave me if i hadnt

Dont be mean, you will hurt his inners! XDDDD

¿Will it break if i shake it?... (luckily it didnt)

Tadaaa! it looks far better than what it is really XDDDD

Answering the ¿could it be better built? question.. Yeah, no doubt, with more time, materials, tools, skill etc it could be much better, but i wanted a thunderhawk (or something identifiable as one) without spending almost 600€ and spending less than 20€, and i think i got it ^^

Glory to the cardboard and my cutter...

Man that's awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has inspired me to make my own, although if you you could post some steps on how you did it, as unfortunately I don't have the modelling ability to do that from scratch

"You call yourselves true warriors, with your palaces and fountains, your medals and parades? I grasped my first axe when I was still in my birth-caul. I earned my first wolfskin when I was still a whelp. I've been fighting every single day of my life, son. Perhaps you're today's challenge, Eh?

That's REALLY convincing Darius! I like how you've used some bendy drinking-straws for the landing gears. This shows allot of skill - Well done man!

BTW, the rest of your Sphess Puppies look awesome. Does the freezing-cold of Fenris appeal to you folks in sunny Spain?

Thanks for the nice words. ^^

we may loose a tourist for this, but... here we have cold too. XDDD in fact, in the north of spain (where i live) we stand the cold very well; I use to wear short shirts with 0-5º celsius

(i know is not too much compared to the worst winters in the far north, but we try our best) XDDD

Then I must appolagize for my naivity, sir!

Darius wrote:I use to wear short shirts with 0-5º celsius

It's sounds like you must be a true Fenrisian! That means that I must be a true Codex Sphess Mahren - You're not going to get me wearing a short shirt in that temperature! At least a few long-sleeved layers would suffice...

Im going to second a request for a guide on how you did this, and a bill of material would be great too. Very impressive work, and if I can summon the patience for this it could save me a whole lot of money. Besides, my Paladins would love to pimp around the galaxy in a beast like that. Again, excellent job man.

Wow! I didn't realize how big it was until I saw the pic of the old school rhino next to it!

Very nice work... nice to see one post of inception to completion... it's like watching LOST as a marathon on DVD instead of waiting each week to see what happens

Well living is not quite the full answer. I am currently passing through for 30 days of work in Spain. I am currently in Rota. Enjoying the sun and some of the beach... I am normally from TN.
