Well, now that I have the my 20,000 + points of Orks I need a suitable game board for them. I am thining about an 18 foot long by approx 7 1/2 foot deep Ork city. I have been snatching up as much official Ork books like the 'Ere We Go!, all the Ork codices and Gorkamorka. While I have some pictures and an excellent long range drawn picture of Mektown from the Gorkamorka book but nothing of an Ork city table. Is there anyone with pictures of some would be great. And yes I have searched the internet so hard I think I found Jimmy Hoffa and the second gunman on the grass knoll sipping jack and cokes while wearing leisure suits, but no ork cities.

Just checking

it doesn't have a date so I'll describe it.

It's a black book
It say ORKS COLLECTORS' GUIDE in big white letters.
There's a picture of Ghazz on the front.

In the book there are some really old models like Goff Rockers and 'Spanner boys'.

It is the number that most books have on them. If you take my college textbook for example it has a number like this: ISBN 978-0-07-128804-0.

If the guide doesn't have one I will have to kick a few bones from the dark closets of the interwebs and see what I can find. Thanks Grimm for the info.

The table was called 'Massacre at big toof river' and was created for games day '97, if that helps. It had a desert theme.

Cool, I think I kind of remember the board. From what I remember that the minis were kind of dusty and they were not painted that way.

Damn government work computer and their anti-pron blocking monkies! 'Massacre at big toof river' is blocked, guess I have to look for it at home where the pron flows like water.

That 4X4 is great. Gives me some ideas. My gaming group and I are already thinking of ideas on how to use this board. We are thinking about doing a Blackhawk Down type APOC mission where SM Drop Pod in to save the crews of a couple Aquila Landers and Rhinos are pushing threw to pull them out. The Orks will be the Somalis, with human slaves acting as a meat shield. As the battle goes on more reinforcements are called on both sides will there is Superheavies and Titans in support.

Well, I have started collecting the pieces to create my Ork City board. Also, my gaming group have started working on the first mission for the board:

Black Ork Down: The Assault on Waaaghadishu

I have started a blog on the Dakka P & M Blog forum so you can track the progress of the project. The fluff openning for the mission is already posted.
