I want to be the first person to tell you that this is completely, utterly awesome. Feel good about yourself for having something so badass. Only problem I could see is that a lot of people will shoot this thing right away. Would be a shame to see this monowheel trukk get blown up first turn.

Based on the fact that you created this, I would vote for you in a United States Election. If, you know, I were eligible to vote in said election.

j/k that's an awesome conversion, seems like lots of 40K players are finding nice uses for that hamster wheel.

Thanks! I'm not actually worried about people getting easy line of sight to it, I'd rather it look cool than be ultra effective. Also, I have five more yet to finish, so I don't think they can get them all at once.

In the world of mono-wheeling and di-wheeling, the term is called "gerbilling." I actually did a ton of research when I fist built the original models about eight years ago. This current Trukk is a "conversion" of an old scratch build.

This one was a prototype, I very well may do a tutorial. here's what I started with. (no actual hamster wheels were harmed in the making of this model.)

The paintjob just finishes it wonderfully. The weathering is awesome.

It's like the color saturation has been cranked to eleven in that picture. Good thing the colors work well together, if not my eyes might be bleeding.

Thanks everyone for all the compliments, it's clear I don't need sweeping changes for the other five. Unfortunately I have to go out of town for work, so I wont be able to start the other five till February.

Cant go wrong with something that size done to the same design but bigger lol.

There's something called a Diwheel. http://images.google.com/images?q=diwheel&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-USfficial&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi

I have thought about making one for either a Battlewagon or a super heavy. The problem is essentially a size issue. whilst these monowheels give me a disadvantage due to their height, I think a Diwheel would give me both width and height issues. Once I've finished the other five Monowheels I'll probably look back into making either a Battlewagon sized Monowheel, or a Diwheel.

Also, at some point I'll make Monowheel bikers.
