Okay, so, after another break from the hobby of around two months, a (hopefully) FLGS opened on the street behind where we lived. Like a good little fanboy i went around, and was press ganged (or not, i didn't need much encouragement) into buying some stuff. I wanted to kick my Ork army off again, and decided on a Meganob Heavy Big Mek list.

My list will be:
HQ:
Ghazghull (already bought)
Big Mek in mega armour with Attack Squig (built and painted)

Elites
6 Meganobz in a trukk
5 meganobz in a trukk
10 Nobz

Troops
5 meganobz in a trukk (Already have)
12 Boyz in trukk (already bought)
12 Boyz in trukk (already bought)
The other three choices in Grotz or Boyz in Trukks

Fast
3-9 converted warbuggies (one built, parts for two more on the way)

Heavy
Looted Wagon (For Nobz)
Battlewagon
Deff Dredd

After filling a Force Organisation Chart i plan to expand the army towards Apocalypse size.

So far, out of my purchased stuff, I have a Big Mek in looted Terminator armour and one Meganob to show you today.
I will update this blog every couple of days, and your feedback will keep me going, so comments and critique are encouraged

I dont know but the metal / black parks seems rushed compared to the rest of the model.

Im working on a MegaNobz army as well. They're nice models, especially Ghaz.

Im not really too great with the rules, but Id advise against the Looted Wagon. Its nice and opens alot of space for conversions, but game wise you are better off playing it as a counts-as battlewagon.
With the Dont touch that rule you have a 1 in 6 chance of it running off at full speed, and it sorta wastes a heavy slot.

Oh and dont run grots in trukks. Its a bit of a waste to get cannon fodder in faster instead of more boyz imho

@ LunaHound-they actually look better in real life, Its just the lighting in my house sucks EVERYWHERE!

@ Ramos Asura-I was just planning mobs of Grotz, not in trukks, just to fill out the numbers a bit, not Grotz in Trukks

Quick update, i picked up some Revell dinosaur model kits, i'm gonna convert them towards a Squiggoth herd for Apocalypse, looks like i'm arming for Apocalypse early CoolOrkDark.gif

This one is about the size of the Forgeworld Gargantuan Squiggoth

And this one is around Land Raider sized.

they were only £2.99 each, so i think it was a bloody bargain xD

Ahhh Squiggoths!

They have to be my favorite models/concepts so far.
Im interested to see how these turn out. Maybe it'll give me an idea or two when I build my own

Any way of distracting us from the massive chin the Mek has? Perhaps a banner to draw attention upwards?

It looks great and I love the squiggoth ideas, but looking at the Big Mek, wouldn't that be a really tight fit?

Haha hopefully. We're building a herd of them between a few of us at the shop. Maybe 7 or 8 in all?

Haha, maybe. I'll see what i can work on.

Yes, i wasn't really keen on £70-80 for a 70 point model.

It all depends how much of the Mek was built into the terminator armour i suppose? Orks can do some crazy crazy stuff, I'll work out some fluff to explain what the Mad Dok did exactly ;D

Update sometime this weekend, probably another couple Meganobz and the start of the Big Squiggoth

would love to see more models def the dino converted up.

have to agree on the big mek, he seems just being placed in termie armor, though you did a better job of it then most people who just stick an ork head on a termie. something does need to be done with that head thou. maybe something to cover the chin or something?

painting is good, like how you did the yellow, def on the first meganob
