Well I've got'm primed, they're next on my to paint list. These little basterds weren't cheap, had to order 12$ worth of meltabombs and 20$ worth of shotguns. The meltabombs were from the war store and the shotguns were from maxmini. The maxmini shogtuns are nice but they're definitely not heroic scale. That's fine by me, they look more like FW elesyian weapons.

The other two things are made from the warhammer empire wizards box and a bunch of bits. The first I consider to be an astropath or primaris psyker. The second I will probably use as a callidus assassin or some sort of inquisitor.

feel free to ask any questions.

I think they're just a hair smaller than a real 870 scale wise.

I got a lot of love for these guys.
Maybe put a pistol grip on the shotgun held aloft?
Love the astropath/whatever.
Not such a big fan of the other wizard with the sword.
All in all, great work, brother.

I think the shotguns look good and scale well with the IG.

Hmm... turns out the Cadians actually look better with more normal sized weapons.

I like it, I wish they were more sci-fi looking weapons like the ones @ http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/range.php?range_id=39&subcat_id=17. Check em out, send me a PM let me know what you think. I'm thinking about replacing my guns with some of these. I like the idea of having old IG models with the new ones, and having their guns look different. I feel like the IG would be a little 'ramshackle' like that, you know?

Well as far as rules go I believe autoguns or whatever the old hive gangers used to have were basically the exact same as lasguns. There's definitely some nice weapons options there, I really like the pulse rifles from aliens. Ramshackle works as long as you can get the bits to convert cadians to that look. If you check out pig iron productions they've got some decent metal models that would work well with the ramshackle look. Thanks for posting that link, definitely gonna order some weapons from that site.

Autoguns used to have slightly different stats (still do in Necromunda) but these days, since 40K doesn't include specific rules for autoguns, they can just be counted as lasguns with nor real problems. IIRC, there have been a couple of add-on lists over the last couple of editions that said to do just that.

Speaking of autoguns, anyone know where we could get the gw ones? Were they only with Necromunda minis or is Forge World my last hope?

I think some of the renegade guard from forgeworld have them. I really wish gw would re-release the metal shotguns and autoguns from necromunda, that'd be awesome.

Inboud...

They look excellent, but your bases are luminescent! I think it'd really lift your models to re-do them, as they are very well modelled and painted as it is.
