What sealant did you use?

Very nice; that'll be one of the better looking exodite armies when it's finished. I especially like the more muted, natural tones you used while still retaining some of that eldar 'vibrancy' of colours.

Thanks for the compliments. To seal it I just used GW Purity Seal. The stuff works GREAT, just don't spray it in high humidity. I made that mistake once and mine model fogged up really bad. I that ever happens, a friend of my told to use "Future Floor Wax". It will get rid of the fog effect, then you just spray the model again to get rid of the sheen. I need to convert a unit of shining spears and the army will be tournament ready. I will most likely add to the army little by little in the future, but as soon as the spears are finished I am going to start on a Space Wolf army.

I haven't played Panzer Dragoon since my days of SEGA Saturn, that brings back memories. I used to love that game, I never played the Xbox version. I actually got the inspiration from the movie "Reign of Fire".

Thanks guys. I started this army back in 2004. Life kinda got really busy so I shelved it for about five years (I had two jobs and then my band started to take off, that took up all of my time). I started back in on it last year (summer of 2009). I had to remodel most of the pieces to match the new codex (it was originally going to be an Alaitoc force). I wish the pics could show the depth of color better. I really hope the pics are entertaining, that's my main purpose. I love the hobby, and I like to keep it entertaining. Here is the background to my Exodites. Feel free to Critique. The picture is copyright of Johnathan Brunner, I will happily take the image off if he wishes. This is strictly for personal use. This is the cover page for my army list. I found this image on g a google search and it resembled my Pathfinders so much I put it on the cover. click the image to get a better view of it, if it's still not legible go to my blog at http://phantomminis.blogspot.com if you click the pic there it comes up really nice. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the page so that it looked like a codex entry. I also drew the rune in Illustrator, it is the Eldar symbol for exodite (from the 3rd edition codex) with a moon on top. ........................................... I just tested the pic, it is much easier to read after clicking the pic in my blog. I would suggest reading it there.

I need to add a unit of shining spears to bump it up to 1750 pts. I will be working on those as soon as I can. I am going to use the new Dark Elf Cold Ones, Dire Avengers, and Tyranid Gargoyle wings. I am planning on mounting them on flying bases as well. I want to eventually add a couple more units of Royal Guardians, and A "Wave Serpent" or two. To make the "Wave Serpent" I planned on modeling a flying dragon carrying, or perched on, a mini warp gate. That is the only way I could justify transport capacity. I didn't want anything to be too cheesy you know. I will probably add another unit of Dragon Knights and some Fire Dragons as well. I want to start a Space Wolf army, so the Shining Spears will be the last thing I'll add before starting the Space Wolves. I will slowly add more and more to this army though. I do have a commission job coming up, so I might not get to do the Spears for a month or so.

I'm happy that you all enjoy the pics. I love looking at other people's work, so I'm happy I can give back to the hobby community as well.
