Let me be honest.

I am a regular guy with a ton of brushes and expensive paints trying to get by in an airbrush world...That said here is my stuff and the trek to get to the level where i am at today!

This blog is a grab bag for my Orks, Cryx and newly added Malifaux models.

So feel free to throw some comments or criticism because without them I'll never get better

Nice! The only thing I'd suggest is to work on the skin and teeth.

I have the skin down now as well as the teeth..these were some of my earlier models...Plus the Nob pics are not the best!

I do love the blood and gore on the weapons.

I just finished a Meganob Paint Conversion to look like the Powerloader from Alien two...My Orks are quite the fan of Ripley even if she is a humie!

The skin I went brighter on..I just tried Devlen Mudd Wash and it made it alot darker as you saw in the Photo's...I am trying to build a new Photo box to take Pictures in!

For the last two nights I have been working on 10 Shoota Boyz and will put Pics up soon...Sorry for the wait!

I have been having a hard time painting as my ex girlfriend was giving me crap..but as we are now broken up and I have very few classes I fully intend to finish my full Waaagh and put pictures up of the progress. Currently working on assembling another Trukk and will soon post Photos of my complete 10 man shoota squad!

So I took a small break but have not been working hard and have finished a Meganob and 3 more Ork Boys...Ill get some more photos up soon, sorry about the photo quality!

I have gotten back into painting as I finally found a style and color scheme I really Enjoy.

Here is my latest work and am going to move on with the Killa Kan.

Now working on a new 10 man squad and a Nob with a PK! Pics to come soon!

This is a Dark Angels Terminator I did for a friend...Really bad quality photo but it gets the basic point across...More to come soon...Throw me some feedback on what ya think or any advice you may have to improve my painting quality.

Went today and played my army at the local Gamestore and took home another 3 wins!

Yeah it is supposed to give off a sorta eerie cursed weapon feeling...I am hoping to get some better photos and try and clean it up a little...But thanks for the support, Ill have some more photos soon!

Updated Picture of my current Boyz Squad, Red is now done except for highlighting....Now moving on to the leather (ugh) More pictures to come upon Leather completion!

So for something a little off track, Today we played a apocalypse game at our FLGS and I got to see my Thraka Substitute bring down a Titan and a Baneblade! The pictures should be able to give you a little taste of what the battle was like today!

Chaos Side...

Hey Today got some serious painting time in, Not to mention finally found the Macro setting on my camera so hooray for small miracles!!!

I began painting my Cryx today and did some test painting on a Bone Jack

I Primed black then went over certain areas with the Granite Base, Which I then doused in a Badab Black wash, and went back over with a lighter coat of base then finished with a Thraka Green wash and a outline of Chainmail.

The vents were done with Snot green, then a 1:1 coat of Scorpion green then a 1:1 spot of Sunburst Yellow for super highlight and a poison gas feeling.

The plates were a new experiment for me consisting of a coat of Tin Bitz, then a 1:1 coat of Tin Bitz and Dwarf Bronze. I then went back and dry brushed some more dwarf bronze over that and topped it off with a highlight of Shining Gold. I like the outcome personally

As for the head, That was a bleach bone starter then dry brushed 1:1 Skull white and Bleached bone and then washed with Devlan Mud. I then went back and did a straight dry brush of bleached bone back over prime areas.

So that is what I decided to go with to start.

I also took some new pictures of My Big Mek and also threw in some pictures of some of my most recent finished work!

Yeah he is pretty cute, I am gonna work on some friends for him so he has people/Jacks to play with lol!

Today after getting some much needed horse back riding in, I found myself with a little extra time and decided instead of finishing my halfway painted Ork Boyz and actually completing a project on my list I would instead start a whole new part of my army on the road towards "Ard Boyz" (Which if ya get a chance please check out my current point list at http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/386631.page)

So tonight I decided to start building my Deff Dred and get him all good and glued so he can rip apart and Nom on some Marines the 13th!
