So I recently bought some of the old Killa Kans and Deff Dreds at my local hobby store for 75% off. And I got to thinking that it would be awesome if they could deepstrike. 
Being orks I can imagine them kicking these meks out of the space hulk and hoping for the best. So maybe they would scatter 3d6 inches, and explode on a roll of triples. What do you guys think?
-As Ronin pointed out I meant 3d6 not d3....oopss

They should make caters, regardless of how well they land, which opens them to be an alternate form of ork orbital bombardment (bubble-bardmemnt?).

Despite the fact that I'll be playing against a guy who'll use Deff Dreds a lot, I like the 3D6 thing. Maybe not like pushing them out, but similar to Termies - tehluhpoortaishun. The triples thing makes that a lot better, and perhaps for some points, could get an addon that makes them roll less dice, and not get hurt.

The scatter can be attributed to "deffstoppas"  (parachutes which stop you from dying upon hitting the ground at terminal velocity)

Maybe they cant move or shoot after hitting the ground but get a 3+ cover save from the dust cloud they create.
