sooo this weekend I found a transformer and started to modify it into a space marine super heavy.

Hey good start, I love the idea of Space Marine Super heavies, using a transformer is a great idea. I've done some such scratch builds in my below thread, check it out if you want and tell me what you think!

Definatly the longer barrel, looks right somehow, but dont agree with that rhino pannel.

I love projects like this, old toys into warmachines!

the first cannon looks superior, just needs a bit of filing down on the tip

Watch what you stick on and where. The Rhino panel/pack pieces look like they've just been randomly tacked on; I'd suggest smoothing out those joins with putty and plasticard so they look like part of the original build.

eventually most of the surface of the tank will be filed down fer plasticard placing.

I think that the spikes on the tank look fine ant fit the tanks shape more thank the shield. Also the longer gun is the way to go.

Definitely the longer barrel. Fluffwise, longer barrel makes for longer range, higher accuracy, and less chance of blast from the rear of the projectile from damaging/weakening the armor. Also looks more threatening and more 'super heavy-esque".

I'm happy your giving this a go, but did you have to use a rare transformer that was only in production for 2 years >.< that would of been worth a lot in years to come lol. Anyho good luck!

A bit to powerful mee thinks, the mega weapon. Which i think should maybe be a smaller form of laser blaster. which should be about Str 8 AP 3 120 inches, 7 inch blast. And maybe a selection of lasscan's or assualt cannons instead of the V bolter

I saw that gun thing on the top of the main gun and just thought vulcan mega bolter!!!

if that was a transformer then i would try to keep it able to transform to make it like a Space Marine transformer thng... =D
