Well...

Figured id condense my verious threads into one that I can update every so often. Please note that everything here is a WIP and in various stages of being worked on. Now, the big question I am asking myself.... where to start?

So lets start on a little experiment ive been working on for my Wild West Warband.. a kitbashed gatling gun:

Followed up by a test model for some Ogryn I picked up. Bought another 10 of em for about $1 each. Thanks to GW makeing these guys suck for Codex after codex people are basically throwing them away for something better. The Greenstuff blob on top is a Beret WIP.

Up next is my remake of good ol Abby. I Hate how the current metal model looks, so I figured id take bits of it and update it on a Chaos Lord. Its a milti part model, the first part being the base.. I have lots of blending and shadeing to work on still, but most the placeholders are in place:

And my WIP Abby:

And a mockup on how it should look:

A objective marker:

Hmm, well thats about it for now. C&C is always welcome.

Looking real good, definitely a big step up with the Abby.

So once again I was asked how I painted the ACU pattern on these guys. So ill post how I did it once more.

Step 1:
Prime your model black.

Step 2:
Base the uniform parts Grey.

Step 3:
Useing a frazzled brush, lightly blotch a lighter grey over the other grey in random patterns.

Step 4:
Useing the same brush, blotch a darker grey over everything, but letting the other colors show through.

Step 5:
Finish the model and it will look something like this.
