Something like this looks close enough to mantics troops in terms of technology if not style

I would likely use marines as Hafza if I go through with it myself.

Assembled a Castigator and a Guardian this morning.
Fething Guardian... That thing just does not go together properly.
And now off to work

You are finding the infinity minis small? What are you used to working with? I think they're slender, but height-wise they're on par with space marines or taller in some cases. I was kind of surprised at how not-small they were after hearing all of this talk about how tiny they are. Interesting.
Put a little paint on some shasvastii, clipped some more tiles from my ruined quadrant, still quite a few to go.
Made this chunky building yesterday:
Still trying to decide if I want to sell/trade, mass/rapidly paint, or repurpose most of my 40k and whfb stuff.

Yeah, for some really small/fiddly models that are still ostensibly 25-32mm scale, get some Malifaux minis

Going to get some paint today so I can get started on some Napoleonics with my father. We are already knee-deep in 28mm, which I'm regretting now, as I think 10-15mm would have been a better choice if I had given it a little more thought when I first bought some British miniatures off E-Bay for my Father's birthday.

I haven't taken the time yet. I'll do an Adepticon Prep blog, though.

This year was my first year, and I enjoyed it. Lots of different ways to play 40k. You can play ultra-competitive tournament through fluffy friendlies. Something for everyone, 40k speaking. Next year, I'm hoping to join in some 30k events.

Slender is probably a better word. Some of the joins especially on the females and the wrists are tiny.
They're my first minis so I dunno. They're painted in so much detail on the site it amazes me when I see how small they are in person.

@ckig, alright I get what you mean. They are indeed finely detailed, to the point that it's hard to keep up. Worse yet, the studio painter often paints in details on them that aren't even present on the models, like logos/insignias, there are some little lines on the bottom of the moderator jacket thing that you have to add yourself etc. It's hard to look at Angel's work and feel good about my own
Fortunately, I mostly paint to tabletop standard on purpose. I mean, I probably couldn't do a lot better if I tried... but I don't try, so I get by
@kronk, interesting, thanks for sharing. I would probably be looking into non- gw events and such, I don't have a hate on for them, but I don't have an army or even the newest rulebook either. I'll be looking into the skirmish stuff. I doubt I'll have any hope of learning infinity well enough by then, but maybe I can go and play some Mantic games and get by. Maybe some of these convention/event style games they're supposed to be holding next year...
Then again, they actually hosted a seminar called "Modeling for Advantage" and that was what it was about, on purpose, condoning it and telling people how. Eeesh.

Either he did something fantastic in a past life or he sold his soul for that ability.
