Also, here's some pics of an old Nurgle Dreadnought I converted, y'know, back when vehicles could have Marks of Chaos. I sculpted the face, and the guts. The Lascannons are from a Predator, that's a tyranid rending claw by the DCCW, a pair of Hurricane Bolters to represent the combi-bolters under each arm, part of the Daemon Prince backpack and a hand on top to represent the originally entombed warrior warping and changing with the Daemon and his Dreadnought, and there's actually a Horse model in between the front and back parts of the sarcophagus to keep them apart while I puttied the crap out of it haha.

Hope you enjoy, Ill actually be repainting this gent in Word Bearers colors soon, so Ill post those too when it's redone!

They're pretty good, but the next step for you is highlights, my friend. As a painter, you will be a lot more pleased with your work once you have those mastered.

I have loved word bearers since I first collected them in 3rd edition and I like the painting on most of the models(especially that sick dread banner). I think the nurgle dread is a bit "messy" but still looks pretty good. I'm always happy to see people still playing the non-cult legions when GW has nearly erased them from the game.

The mariens look great! You need to get a funky Dark Apostle conversion to lead them.

I do have one, haha, he's the guy with the mace.

I was thinking about converting another head like that to use for a terminator armored version too.

Some nice stuff here. I also used the DA robes for my Word Bearers. Actually all my characters are DA SCs as well. Only gripe I have is the same as above. Use some highlights with the washes you have applied and you're ace!

This makes me want to finish my army!

Love these guys! Nice to see some older chaos models in there such as the flamer guy and the icon bearer. I also really like the grungy look these models have. Chaos marines aren't shiny like those imperial dogs!

Man, I'm not gonna lie, those Nurgle dreads are sickening. Sickeningly good, that is. Seriously, they are just the right sort of Vile you should be going for, in my opinion. Very nice work!

Wow!!! That is the only word that comes to mind.

I like the models but hade Word Bearer fluff.

I think the WB marines + WB dread are all painted to a great table top standard. I have to admit i dislike the nurgle dreads, you might as well have not used the actual dreadnought model.

Yeah, they're a bit overdone.

I like your work a lot. The WB scheme is well done, and the Nurgle Dreadnought looks like... something really foul and gross. Kind of like 1/2 digested raw meat thrown up and left to rot in the sun for a couple days.
