Looks very thin and pastel. Bad Moon always stuck me as very bold yellow, like these guys. Achieving that solid of a yellow is time consuming, the only why I've been able to do so (and with white) as via lots of very thin, watered down layers. It gives a very nice, even, bold result.

Prefer the pastal to the bright daisy yellow. Together on a table I think those bright red green and yellow ork armies always look to lego/toy like.

I like this idea and I think will traslate into massed units a lot better imo.

It's a great start.

The choppa could do with a highlight of chainmail on the edges, and a few metallic scratches on the yellow would be a nice touch (not too many, as Bad Moonz have the best kit, so shouldn't be too scratched up, IMO

)

But a solid effort. Should look impressive en masse.

I too like the more subdued yellow. But the metal certainly needs some... metal... color to it. It looks unfinished as it is.

Oh, and don't forget the black flames.

I like the bleached yellow, quite well done.

I like it a lot. It has a more realistic worn look than the superbright cartoony colours orcs usually have.

Hell yea, that guy looks great. An army of those will look pretty awesome on the table. My question is though, how large is your army going to be, and how long does it take to paint/construct that one? If the answer is large, and long your going to be at this for months lol

i do bases to that standard on all models.......it adds alot tothe models inmy opinion

I agree totally. That's standard basing for all models I assemble, too.
IMO, it's that one extra step that REALLY makes the AoBR boy look great. it gives it the, "THAT'S an AoBR model? Wow!" factor.
