i don't get the RAW answer to SoS and Vehicles.

1) It is pretty clear vehicles can take cover saves (last two paragraphs bottom of left side of pg54), this contradicts any reference anyone can find that only models with wounds can take cover saves.

2) Obscured is only used to determine how COVER interacts with models. At the end of the day an OBSCURED vehicle can use COVER to get a COVER SAVE. If I already have a coversave, why care about the earlier criteria.

If you need $50 to buy a ticket to a concert and a BA librarian gives you a free ticket to that concert. Do you still need $50 dollars to get into the concert?

If you need to be obscured for cover to provide you a cover save and a BA librarian provides you a free cover save. Do you still need to be obscured?

3) The obscurred reference on Smoke, and Flat out skimmers really have no game effect, at the end it's the cover save statements in each of those sections that matters.

4) This contradicts the Storm Caller /KFF INAT FAQ.

And just to point out, INAT != Official (and is mostly Rules Changes hidden as "Clarifications") and that the KFF says Obscured, while the other 2 don't.

Vehicles can only take cover saves against Pens or Glances if obscured. If they are not obscured, they can only take the save against wounds. It really is that simple.

Logic is incorrect.

correct logic:
You need to have a car and $50, to buy a ticket, to go the concert, the BA librarian gives you the ticket, but you still need the car to get there.
