Just been reading an old White Dwarf on how to do power weapons and it talks about applying a glaze of Dark Angels Green and Hawk Turquoise does anyone know what this is and how to create it. Or am I being thick and it is just another word for was?

I'm not entirely sure, not something I've ever tried but I'd assume it means to water the paint down, so it's about the consistency of one of the GW Washes. Maybe? :S

I didn't know whether it was like the old ink washes - you need to add some pva?

Glaze is used to change the hue/tint of an underlying color. Glaze mediums are generally used to help create the glaze as a glaze medium is just the liquid suspender in a bottle making the paint nearly transparent without reducing it's viscosity all that much (somewhat, but generally glazes aren't as fluid as washes).

Wash is generally only applied in recess for shading and is almost always made by thinning paint with water (or alcohol with alcohol based paints) but keeping the color opaque (Badab Black is a wash, BB thinned with water to be nearly see through is a glaze.

I've heard the pva trick used, not sure how well it works.

--The whole concept of government granted and government regulated 'permits' and the accompanying government mandate for government approved firearms 'training' prior to being blessed by government with the privilege to carry arms in a government approved and regulated manner, flies directly in the face of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

Thank you I will just go for a very very thin wash then - I'll test it on the wife while she is asleep to see what it looks like.

Throw enough Goblins at anything and it should go away, at the very least there will be less Goblins.

What does Eric Clapton and Coffee have in common? Both suck without Cream.
