Ok I apologise for the quality of photos I will try and improve them as this goes along. I don't think I am by any stretch of the imagination a particularly great painter or modeler but I really enjoyed making this model so I thought what the hell lets put it on and see what people think. Any constructive comments would be welcome:

As you can see there is still a lot to do I plan to get the base done tonight and finish the power sword.

What I can see of it looks good, but the pictures (of Ragnar) are very small. Would love to see some more zoomed-in pics.

Great! Ragnar really needs a charge pose. Is that a vanguard veteran you built him around? Hope to se close ups and finished basing soon.

Yes it is I cut the Vanguard with the Relic Blade in half and put a SW torso on the charging legs. I then added the Relic Blade Arms as it is the best looking power sword/frost blade in my bits box. The Shoulder Pads were modeled with Green Stuff and the Wolf Heads from the Powerpack and Wolg Guard Terminator cloak. Then I just added a couple of bits here and there to make him look a bit special. Didn't want to zoom in too much as the fine detail has not begun yet but will be done sometime this week. Thanks for the feedback so far.

Beautiful conversion work here, I'm a big fan of chop shop work with multiple models blending metal and plastic. Ragnar really needed an advancing pose, he's too agressive in character not to.

I think the chainsword is too iconic not to include...

I did think that but what swung me was that Ragnar has a Frost Blade that is a Chapter Relic and I believe that means it would look like a powersword rather than a chainsword - I know the concept art shows otherwise but that's just it, it is concept art.

Also I couldn't find a chainsword that looked good enough.

It looks really good. I too would like to see closer pics.
