After a couple of days of working on this my arm is beginging to cramp up
So while I rest I thought I would share Hydra 964 (Callsign Illume) of the Dunedin 43rd Armoured Regiment, currently on assignment with the 51st Division Recon Battlegroup.
The chassis is largely complete, but I still need to do something with the details on the AC mounts and barrels. Freehand lines are a little wobbly but I'm still happy with it

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy. |

Thanks guys
@Finch - The camo is random splotches of green and brown paint over a black undercoat... nothing special there

Looking good! The old crow turret blends nicely with the rhino hull.

@Khaine - Thanks. The old crow turret is a pretty awesome piece of kit. I was looking through some pictures to try and get painting inspiration and found that its almost a direct copy of a Gepard turret
@Klaws - Meh, I had two spare Rhino chassis left over from when I got parts for my Russes
@USAR - Don't forget the Chimeras with Predator turrets and the Tachikominals from Tomb Spyders My mortar crews are pretty vanilla though

That is nice man. I've gone for a VERY similar theme on mine, but I was worried about the guns looking too lascannon-y. I love the Autocannon ammo drums on the gun bodies, consider it stolen.

Awesome work!
Only thing that I would recommend is use/make decals for the lettering. This site http://fichtenfoo.net/blog/how-to-build-master-grade-gundams/#Decals1 has a good description of how to make your own on a PC and print them.
Again, great work!

I really like the camo, but I have one issue in that they look like army toys. They don't look realistic; they actually look like they are made of plastic. My reccomendation would be to give them some wear and tear or weathering to pull some more realism into the models.

@Darth Bob - I guess I'm resisting putting weathering on my tanks in case it doesn't work very well Is it really question of weathering or is it the relatively large areas of unhighlighted black?
All opinions welcome (if not necessarily agreed with )

Nice use of a rhino for the IG! I've had people ask what they can do with those rhinos when they start Guard armies, and previously I was at a loss. Not anymore though! I'll just direct them to you.
