Nope, she's an exclusive, just like the standard bearer last year and the beastman the year before.

That's nice to see Lewis H.stubber. but... This Matilda has no sprocket wheels at all mew! Real life tracked vehicles require sprocket wheels to move the tracks around

I guess it's a good thing then that this Matilda is only inspired by the real thing not actually a bolt for bolt replica.

T-34 had no "external" sprocket wheels, it had a center line tooth on the tracks and used an "internal" grab wheel that propelled the tank forwards on it's treads, who is to say that thisi space Matilda does not do it like the T-34?

Hint: Look at the back most wheel

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Remember, that model up there in the pics is a WiP not the complete model,, so they may have the sprocket added in later

Pic link doesn't work for me either. But you're right about the T34's lack of 'external' sprocket wheels.

Odd perhaps that most real-world tanks (including Russian ones) do use external sprocket wheels - are they somehow more reliable or easier to maintain than internal sprocket wheels?.

I do have models of the more modern Russian tanks. They went with external sprockets as they came up with treads similar to western powers,m the T-34 was made to be built fast and cheap so the most efficient expedient was the single line of Teeth grabbing using the bars in between the 2 halves of the wheel.

Yes. Just like it's ok for it to have laser guns.

It's not a historical scale model.

hisssssssssssssssss!

could scifi Matilda be abit more realistic? I don't say that 'out with these bolters and sponson mounts!' I'd rather wants Matilda with sprocket wheels so it won't slip
Drive trains are already mounted to the rear you see?

Greetings. I'm back home from the US now. Had a great time.
Re; Tank questions, the prototype shown at Adepticon was very well received, I am planning to get it released this year. Currently we need to do a few revisions and reprint some of the bits. Its a big project and I am making sure that the quality is as high as possible. This will take a few months and I'll keep you posted on the progress.
I hope to get the bikes released this year too.
Cheers, V
