Now ive finished with my college course and waiting to see if i get into university, which there will be alot of time to kill. I thought i would get my minis painted, which there are quit alot to paint. I hope this blog will help me get motivated to get them done. Its been a least 3 years since i started some of these minis, so its about time to finish them. These are going to be sorted into main and secondary priorities.
Main priorities
- Making corrections and cleaning mistakes to imperial fist army.
- Finishing of my ork army
Seconary
- Start painting DIY chapter, taking time to get them perfect. This is going to be a showcase army, if i can.
- Try new conversions for imperial guard.
Ill try and post pic' when ever i finish a mini.

Thank you.
Ok, first update. I didnt get much done because i stripped an ork nob with nail varnish remover and got a headache. Damn stuff.
But i pushed through the pain.
I started painting a killa kan and finished a dead marine that will be decorating its base.
I liked painting the marine, that was the first time ive painted a dark angel. I found it a really easy technique with good results.

Ok its been a while since ive updated. Thats because ive been playing alot of killzone 2 online. But ive finished two killa kans and made more imperial guard. ive also been thinking about my ork bases, i think they need more detail. At the moment all they have is static grass. i think they need more plant life. ive made some attempts at them, what do you think? if they dont look right i may get some plants for aquariums and see if they will work.
Hopefully i wont get distracted by my PS3 and get some minis painted.

Nice work on the on kan. However, I would not go with a full grass base.(Remember, he a'int golfing!)

OR you could give the salamander a golf tee in his mouth (with a ball) and have the Kan swinging a club! I just gave myself an idea!

Ok, its been a while since ive posted. My bad.
After talking to one of my friends about comics and necromunda, all day. It got me motivated to do some painting. i still havent done much just some undercoating and redoing bases. But i have finally sorted out how i am going to have my ork bases, which i think look really good.
While buying some scenely for my bases ive come across some very strong glue. I thought it would be like normal PVA glue. But i was wrong. it got all over my fingers and made such a mess. i felt like a little kid. But it seems like good glue for basing with static grass. It would definitely keep it on the base.
Hope you like the new bases

Damn killzone 2 so distracting. But made some progress. Ive decided how i want my IG. There going to be a PDF with very little armour and lots of troops. I was thinking off the name "Vintor PDF". Ive also dug out some old mins that i started ages ago to try and get them finished. They are going to represent my inquisitor retinue. I also decided to redo my inquisitor because i thought it wasnt a good standard and the paint was layered on to thick. So he has been stripped and waiting for primer.
Plus i have some good news, i have been accepted into newcastle university to study mechanical engineering. Hopefully while im up there i will finally learn how to play 40k.

I need friends like that
Nice to see some of the older ork stuff.
It all tends to have alot more character than the newer stuff.
Looking promising so far, and weird to see a gamer soo close to me in area for once (usually london way)
