Maybe for the last tactical you could do a squad of Space Wolves, Blood Angels, or Blood Ravens?

Its an "obliterator" if anyone was wondering. I plan to run the "cult of destruction" along with the battle company. As well as a dreadnought formation. I cant remember the name but eh, im sure someone will chime in with the name.



Other obliterators. As you can see they are all custom designs for that unique mechanicus look. Cookie to the person that guesses what RT kit made 2 of the bodies and heads.

Large Friend number 3.

Its plague tower painting time!

Last pic before final detailing on nurgling huts, more rivets, and some more GS. Shouldnt take more then 2 hours or work before I can undercoat it.

Oh and the bell tower isnt attached right now. Im going to paint that last before attaching it.



There are also a few random plastic bitz that wont get glued onto the side until its done being painted. So fear not, there are other nurgle things on board.

As always, I love any kind of feedback, good or bad. Oh and I could use some opinions on how to paint this badboy.

Taking a break from the tower to work on this guy. Im not a fan of massivly mutated spawn. I see my marines as killing the mindless spawn and keeping the ones that still have some since of reasoning, even if it is on a very pasic level. I like the idea of them being "possessed marines gone wrong".

I need to wait for this layer to dry before the final stuff like straps holding the power plant on, and more drug injectors, the reason the guy has a power plant still.

Should I paint the land raider doors on the plague tower in the clas of lorek scheme or in a nurgle scheme?

I am kinda iffy on how the intestines turned out. I wanted something that doesnt stand out but I think they may be to subtle in color. I dont think ill change this guy but any future ones might need a slight scheme change.

Hm lets see.. from Obliterators left to right:
Head - Tau battlesuit head.
Body - OOP wartbike cut up
Arms - Epic Lord of Battle arms
Lower Half - Warbike again

The other 2 are pretty much all OOP RT era land speeder and a few modern bitz like bower fists and auto cannons.

The painted one is just random vehicle gubbinz and plastic card.

And,
claw up or down?





The big guy will count as a dreadnought. Think massivly mutated marines after fabius bile came around to "help".

Honestly I must say im suprised anyone replies at all. dakka seemsto be a place that either A) you have to be a regualar for people to reply to your stff, or B) you have the be a GD winning person.

Very nice all around, I like the claw up, it gives the "crazy when I cause chaos I get excited" look. Hopefully that makes sense!

I should have my new laptop by the end of this week, so until then, a friend took these up at the shop this weekend. In the pics its not yet completed and still needed skin on the thighs, clafs fleshed out, arms beefed up and the neck finished. As well as a few other things. So until the completed pics can be uploaded...






Oh and I went with the arm down for the simple reason that its already a tall model so its hard enough to transport. I wanted it up. :( Maybe the next one will have the CC arm up.

I got a request to post this before GSing pics are posted. Ive had the pics taken for 2 or so weeks now and still havent started any GSing. To many commission projects to work on a largeish project of my own.









Nothing to special. Just minor cut and chops here and there. The open hatch on the back will be where a pile of skulls is going.

C&C always welcome and loved. Oh and incase anyone was wondering, the dread will be having the backpack replaced with a more dreadnought like power plant.

The missing arm on the slaughterfiend is a defiler claw arm, to match the arm thats attached already. I plan to indeed have it up in the air.
