Drum roll please!
A long awaited update from me.
Ummm well...
Seriously there are some new pics coming...
Such as these neat little Horrors of Tzeentch. Blue ones to be precise, as pink just didn't fit well with the aesthetics of the Prophets of Destiny army (they'll be used as Summoned Lesser Daemons, you see).
Now these five were all painted by yours truly, in about 3 hours (from Undercoat), quick and easy. The other five members of the squad were painted by Lord of Change (which are yet to feature) so that we could half the painting time required. All in all, it was a fast painting session. I may go back to do some highlights on a few of them when I feel like it. Anyway... Here is a nice detailed shot of the leaders of the squad.
And, a nice pair of close ups of their Daemonic Champion.
Well, that's all from me. Expect an update from Lord of Change later in the week.
Ciao, Gathering Storm

I have an update as well. The fruits of my labours.
All five of these Horrors were painted by me.

And now for something completely different!
Yup, it's a Pre-Heresy Apothecary, from the Word Bearers Legion.

Horrors look good guys. Especially for one sitting, good idea to split the squad between you, half the time, half the effort, double the fun

Glad you think they look good. Although I may go back and add some more highlights to a couple of them.
Yep, it meant I could spend a lot more time on the Champion and Banner Bearer, while Lord of Change picked up the slack on the other Horrors.

Those horrors look great! I wish a lot more gamers would remember the old days where horrors were both blue and pink (oh, and you had to have twice as many blue horror minis as pink horror minis, because when a pink horror died it split into two blue horrors...).
I'm not sure on the mentor legion dude's chest though, the rest is fine but the pipes seem a little out of place.
Where once was one there now is two,
Where once was pink there now is blue!

Great looking horrors...I only have pink. *sad face* Another box of horrors is totally on my B-day/X-mas lists (they're only a month apart ya know, this be my time to stock up), and perhaps some Flamers too...I really like yours and they're giving me the itch to expand my daemons. Nice work guys!

Yes, I remember 3rd Edition Codex Chaos Space Marines... fun times! Sadly the rulebook was updated before I started collecting daemons, but I always prefered the look of the Blue Horrors to their Pink spawning variety. In fact it is for that reason that all and I mean ALL the units in my Chaos Daemons army have/will have blue skin!
I'm not sure on the mentor legion dude's chest though, the rest is fine but the pipes seem a little out of place.
Yes, I'm less than convinced my self. The thing is that it was a salvaged (and badly mutilated) push-fit Space Marine to being with, and it's chest had been gouged out quite seriously. On second thoughts I should have made the wires look as though they were erupting from him or something.

Thanks bunnygurl. Well it is my birthday very soon as well (this month), so I'll be burning all that gift money on filling up my troops choices (another box of horrors, two boxes of Bloodletters etc). And I will hopefully have obtained a total of nine metal Flamers by the end of the month (a good use of 315 points IMHO ).

I like the style of your Daemons, while they are the common Tzeentchien blue the white/grey shading really adds character. Also, I'll be checking through my bits tonight to see if I can find more Flamer pieces for you.

Well, that was what I was going for. Although, I'm not sure what techniques I should use to disfigure the white armour further.

Great lightning effects! Not usually a big fan of them tbh, but yours are very natural looking (well, for magic space lightning). Nice depth of colour on the red, too.

Thanks Graven! It's took my a while to get the lightning to look good enough for my liking. And with the red, I was trying out gradual belding (with dark colours) and I'm hoping it will look good when it is finished!

Well, I have been painting on and off over the last couple of months. And one of the things I started on was the Rogue Trader Librarian I got in a swap with weetyskemian44. So... here is what it looks like at the moment. EDIT: Thanks for the compliment Vivaporius.
