Well I am in the moment they are released! Sculpt quality looks incredible, they really capture the look of the Arkham characters.

I saw the 30mm Batman at a store in Berlin and bought it for my brother. The bigger Knight Models are great, but I'm not that good of a painter to really use it. But this is great!

Heroclix was nice when I was younger, but now I find the rules just boring.

is there a website yet with previews? I've got a ton of friends who'd be so into this but aren't miniatures gamers, and a nice website with pics would help a lot more than a random thread on a miniatures forum...

"...and special thanks to Judgedoug!" - Alessio Cavatore "Now you've gone too far Doug! ... Too far... " - Rick Priestley "I've decided that I'd rather not have you as a member of TMP." - Editor, The Miniatures Page "I'd rather put my testicles through a mangle than spend any time gaming with you." - Richard, TooFatLardies "We need a Doug Craig in every store." - Warlord Games "Thank you for being here, Judge Doug!" - Adam Troke

If they're keeping this true to Arkham City, I don't think he will be.

Azrael will be though!

Nice spoiler there!

(I partially deserve it, true, as B: AC has been in my 'to be played' queue for a while now.)

You're lucky I'm psyched by that news Kan!

To be fair it's not a massive spoiler, given the amount he actually appears in the game
This has really peaked my interest though... the models are stunning representations of the in-game characters. I can't wait to see the Riddler and Penguin models as I love the direction both took.

It'll also be interesting to see if they do the Mad Hatter and conversion heads for his henchmen

As someone else WHO HASN'T played the game, I agree with Alpharius.

Still stoked about the minis though.

And gonna have to re-double my efforts to get the game this weekend. Bang goes any chance of modelling this weekend now!

"Ask ten different scientists about the environment, population control, genetics, and you'll get ten different answers, but there's one thing every scientist on the planet agrees on. Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." Same here!

I just need to finish the final battle in SPACE MARINE (stop laughing!) before moving on to Arkham City...hopefully this weekend, if I can find the time.

More on topic - I'd love to have some more preview miniature shots, as well as a list of planned models!

The minis I'm most excited to see are Ra's, Talia, and the lady-ninjas of the League of Assassins.

Curious about the gameplay though, seeing as my playthroughs of Arkham Asylum were all about being a silent predator lurking from the shadows pitted against a gang of armed thugs. Really curious to see how this plays out.

I'm glad to see that they are doing a full line with a game. I have the Batman figure that is available and it is superb. A bit pricy though...

I like what I see in the figures so far, but I would love better pictures of them.

Hopefully they don't have to stick to just the video game lineup, although departing from it would require some redesigning that DC may not be alright with.

I would love to see the aforementioned Red Hood, and the Royal Flush Gang from the Justice League: Doom video.

Looking forward to more.

Holy painted plastic those miniatures look nice! Don't really care about the game (though I hope it is fun), will get the figs anyway.

I'm at the final set piece - so hopefully I'll just blast right through it.

I'm prepared to be disappointed though, especially as I'm sure it will end on a cliffhanger, and I don't think we're getting a sequel.

On topic here - I have to admit, I am VERY excited about this game in terms of both miniatures AND rules.

I hope we find out more soon!

I guess since they found the loophole to produce another DC based miniatures game, considering the rumors about an Arkham prequel with the Justice League and that Warner really needs to push their franchises which are not Batman, I wouldn't be surprised to see other DC characters show up later. Maybe miniatures based on Injustice.

I wonder how they're going to do Mr. Freeze.

From the looks of the preview pic, I think they're going to do Mr. Freeze justice! (Ha!)

Maybe include a little plastic canopy in the kit, somehow?

The preview pics are just the regular Arkham City artwork.

I just love the Arkham design. Some of the characters have never been better. I loved the Golum Two-Face.

I don't think I'll start the game, but I'll be tempted by some of the big name models. Joker, Bats and Harley seem like they'd be fun to paint.

I know, but so far the miniatures we've seen match the artwork pretty closely...

Knight models are generally pretty pricey. Will that still hold for
the game release do you know? A lazy google search tells me
the Batman fig alone is 20 bucks. I'm okay with spending that on
Batman, but I'd be less excited to spend that on, say, one of the
Joker's goons.

Are those the 54mm figure prices, of the 28/30mm figure prices?

If the smaller scale, then yeah, that's a bit pricey.

I'm hoping the 'goons' come in blisters/boxes to help keep costs down in terms of a 'per figure'...figure.
