Obvious bait is obvious.
No, obvious wink-wink nudge-nudge is obvious. If I actually had any qualms I wouldn't have ordered them, nor written it with a pause in there for comical emphasis or posted a picture of Dr. Evil. Plus if it was bait, which it was not, you did bite at it, so I suppose you are hooked now. The question is are would we throw you back in or put you in the little freezer? Your fate is now mine to control! MWAHAHAHAHA

Look, it's an easy decision: do you want your stuff delivered by singing turtle or not at all?

While I too balked at the idea of paying $100 shipping for $100 of stuff - and out of principal I almost didn't place that order - I realised that even though it doubled the cost of each item, $18.. or ~£12, is still a heck of a lot better than ~£30 + shipping for the same item from the UK

I wasn't ordering enough stuff to make that worth my while. Even with a singing turtle doing the delivering.

Even after VAT adds a further 20% on top of that?

And after Royal Mail seizes your package at the border and charges you a "handling fee" for holding your stuff hostage?

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.
"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks
-----
"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal |

Oh yes, customs is going to kick all of us in the balls. But that's 'Future Money' which is only slightly more valuable than 'Past Money' and barely worth 1% of "Right Now Money'.

The Dust flyers are cheaper than toys at Walmart. Buy two choppers and convert them into one incredible transport for only $18--you know you can't resist that.
Think of all the tank hulls you could buy at $9 each instead of $18 through the War Store!

SHUSH YOU! I'm on a hobby budget freeze and this is killing me! 9 dollars a tank is approaching the ridiculous teknolog (or whatever) Russian tank seller guy. And the local library game day has me *seriously* considering getting some X-Wing...
Maybe I'll turn the FFG website dust section over to family for xmas =/

If you play pirate or island RPGs, you REALLY want the Descent Sea of Blood expansion.
28mm island map, 2D ship, shark fin standees. No mini's. Five bucks, but shipping might hurt.

It wasn't terrible in the states, somewhere between 4-10 of those tanks was running 15 bucks via UPS but I could only imagine the violence they'd visit upon your foreign wallets :(

How nice are those Special Editions? I already have the regular editions of the books, so I'd just be spending a fortune for the fancy cases. Against all common sense and my better judgement.

Against all common sense and my better judgement. It's a fancy case and some certificate, and I'm pretty sure they don't do the personalised certificate any more, so it's probably generic. I don't know if the book is different - it might have some fabric bookmarks inside, but that'd be about it - beyond that it's a case to put the book in. A very nice case, sure, but still just a case.
