Sorry to hear that! They will hit retail pretty quickly after fulfillment this time... I have to finish sorting the webshop by the end of the month, or Jo says she'll apply a -1 modifier to all my dice rolls. And punch me.
kestral wrote:The Human rogue is very nice. a bit more variety in hair/garment style would be good though.
It's a tough one with the clothing; because we're going for low-level characters, I spent a day trawling through various editions of D&D, (It's a tough job I've got!) and every class was basically chainmail, leather, or clothes. And that's it. But once these 12 are done, we can start adding a bit more variety in style and level.

Thanks! Although I really, really want to resculpt those robots; they need better joints, and some sort of swappable weapons set-up.... No! must not get distracted!

We've added the Bard sculpt today, and I've written up a step-by-step on the sculpting process here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/oathsworn/heroines-in-sensible-shoes-28mm-miniatures-for-rol/posts/1475940

The project's going really well for us! Although I've probably just cursed it by saying that...

That javelin looks extremely short and thick, even considering the kinda old-school style these gals are sculpted in.
I'd consider redoing it a bit slimmer. Although I suppose it could easily be converted into another axe for anyone who find it too chunky.

The half-orc has been changed, to remove that javelin. It was actually supposed to be a torch, which was turned into a javelin because half-orcs have night vision and therefore do not use torches, that is why it did not look so good.
But the new one looks real great imho:
I think I will pledge just for her, because of the badass factor.

I think you will be okay if you choose the first pledge.
From the KS page:
Single Lady Pledge - choose any 1 pewter miniature from this project.
I'll echo what others have said about the revised half-ork. She looks great!

I asked on the Kickstarter about the pregnant villager, and apparently that's exclusive to the higher tiers(according to a random poster anyway).

I'll be honest. I'm pledging for the set because of the half-orc and the dragonkin, on the basis that if this were a box set at the local game store, I'd buy it for those two models alone.

I am sorely tempted to do the same! Shipping is a bit of a bummer for a single figure, but still no bad at all (5 pounds for the mini plus 5 pounds to ship). Of course the price per mini is under 3 pounds if getting the full set of minis for 35 pounds
Edit: Put in a token pledge for now, didn't realize this only ran for 10 days - ends tomorrow! Would be great to see it break 1000 backers in such a short time (currently at 934 with 22 hours to go)

Thanks everyone for all the comments and support! And for posting the pics here, that's been very helpful!
I'd have been in replying more regularly, but the last week has been a lot busier than we anticipated...
Just to answer the question on picking single figures, you can pick from any of the 11 adventurers. Only the NPC mini can't be picked, because we figured it would be unfair to the higher pledge levels, as it meant as a bonus for them.
Everyone gets the resin monster's nest though!
Anyway, down to the last few hours now... https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/oathsworn/heroines-in-sensible-shoes-28mm-miniatures-for-rol
I don't think these two have been posted here yet:

Very nice! Also, saw this from the comments
Robert.s.dean wrote:They are all nice looking figures, but the non-European bard and the pregnant villager sold me. I'm afraid the expectant mother is in for a miniature life of being menaced on a regular basis...
I didn't think of that, but in an RPG setting, that model is almost assuredly going to be in the situation of needing to be rescued more often than not . At least the other adventurers "in sensible shoes" can help with the rescuing!

I think she would also do well painted as a statue, as a centerpiece for a temple. Or with some flowers and vines in a forgotten shrine.
