SOB is

1) Celestine. She is the basis for every sister's list AKAIC
2) Dominions: I play super in your face and these ladies are the best shotgun unit outside the astartes
3) Exorcists: Random as hell but usually come through when it's clutch. D6 S8 AP 1 at 48" is no goddam joke.

Space Marines

1) Literally anything grav
2) Seriously Grav is life
3) I like bike command squad...with grav.

Before I start I would like to emphasize
that I play in a very competitive meta and I know most people would call me the scum of the Earth if I rocked up with this to a random game in a FLGS...

So before, I loved to bring 3 Crimson Hunters and an Exarch, Crimson Death formation if it was allowed or 3 separate FA slots if not. They look amazing and vector dancing was just too much fun to pass up (looking forward to the new supplement BTW!)

And then Tau happened...

So with some of my regular opponents using interceptor/Skyfire Riptides, Stormsurges and now Supremacy suits, or Whitescar/DA alpha strike marines I usually run 15-18 Windrider Guardians with scatter lasers, scouting Wraithguard in wave serpents and a Seer Council being led by 2-4 Farseers.

Obviously this gets toned down heavily for non-competitive/ non-league games.

My two squads of Sternguard in Drop Pods and my Bolter Scouts in Land Speeder Storms.

The Bolter Scouts/LSS were the first unit that I had completely finished that ever showed up on the table. They have been in nearly every list that I have ever ran for my Crimson Fists. It is what keeps me from running a Gladius/Sternhammer at this time, since I wouldn't have room for them.

The Sternguard are my workhorse unit. They are ObSec and between their Combi-Meltas and Special Ammo, they can deal with most everything I throw them at.

2-3 units of plague marines. Even though they are not the killiest, they usually last longer than anything else, since the enemy focuses on other things he can actually kill.

With Renegades, I just about always bring some sort of artillery. It is super cheap, and super deadly. Mostly I choose a max Rapier laser destroyer battery. It kills vehicles dead! Point and click one dead vehicle (outside crazy jinks) a turn lets the rest of my army do whatever I want.

Other than that, Plague zombies. Lately I find myself bringing a core of a plague zombie blob, usually a single unit of 30 or 40. Big enough to completely block anything from charging the rest of my army until I choose to let it, or 2-3 turns of pile in has happened. Or it serves as the ultimate tarpit. Victims include:
* Riptide squadron
* TWC deathball unit
* Multiple assault marine units in one charge
* 2 TDA units at once
* A dreadnought, 2 tactical marine units
You get close to the blob, it charges, you never leave combat!

Flamers of tzeench.. unless im doing a fluffy list i always have at least 2 units of 4-6 each. I find that they are an excellent fast unit that is really good at hoard controll and even dealing with small elite squads though pure amount of hits/wounds.

My Dark Angels are a mostly Deathwing force, so two to four units of Deathwing, plus some Deathwing Knightts. I almost always take my Deathwing painted Dreadnought in a Drop Pod.

My Sisters army's main units are two large Battle Sister squads, but the most important is probably one to three Seraphim squads, as my Dominion are catastrophically unlucky (can't roll a 3+ save for them, ever).

BloodThirster, The idea of a CC monster with a BS10 whip! highly amusing to me
CSM(flamer) in a rhino(havoc launcher) joined by a lord. This group usually doesn't make its points back but always has fresh recruits from its homeworld. Its Lords are strangely promoted to daemon princes. It is considered an honor to serve in this squad and witness khorne's miracles. BFTBG
Soul Grinder, I wasn't sold on this unit until a freind of mine loaned me one. The amount of utility it wields is astounding and i had to get my own.
