yeah... he did it!!! riveted up a horse! you are my riveting hero now^^ (it is a trophy that´s only in your possesion for around a week...but it´s the title that really brings the fame^^)

the tank looks cool... if i had a plastic tank i sure would try that methode too....well i could for once try it with kebapsticks....

and about the league...if someone would bring on a banner... i am in already^^


by the way... for my next tank i am really thinking about copying your paintscheme for your tanks...that creamy apreareance really speaks to me...

95% done with the rivets, unless you guys can see a place that needs more. They just need a little bit of TLC before I hits 'em with the paint.


As I was naming this picture, I started laughing because it sounded so much like an antique curse: "Ah, horse rivets"

I hope to get another update up later, but that all depends on how fast I can get all of this work done...

So? What do you guys think? It's a little bit of a concept banner, but you get the idea...

for the barrle looking...rather not but the tank looks wonderful... by the way...you showed some serious balls by drilling rivetholes for the rods in an already done tank! whoa!

the horse looks really good now and i expect after a lik of paint to the leatherwork to make the brassen rivtes shine up it will be most unique!

and if that wasn´t enough for one update...the league...count me in...in fact if you dont feel the need for changing something...maybe a tad more in the brassy sector of the scheme...but i show the flag immediately if you allow....^^

Thanks, Vik! That's why it has taken me six months with the riveting rod lying around before getting up the gumption. One does not usually go about drilling into a painted tank!

You are a riviting GOOD AMONGST RIVETLESS men ...... uve inspired me to also ADD a ton of rivits...you can never have too many rivits.

all i have do to is get a new drill piece and some 0.25 mm plastic rods...:S but i shall previal thanks to your ingenuity, loving the looks of your tank by the way !!!!

Thanks for the compliment! Careful on the units there, EZ. I was using .025 inch rod which equals ~.65mm. I use a 1mm drill bit, but the extra diameter doesn't turn out so bad. Nothing that won't go away with some paint.

Not at the moment. The Baneblade was what inspired the extra rivets for the Leman Russes. However, riveting is quite contagious, so you never know what might happen

Thanks! I hadn't thought of adding rivets to the roughriders, but it's something to think about...

Well, we have to convene the League to admit initiates to the highly exclusive Lambda Epsilon Rho fraternity but, all it really takes is a zealous passion or obsession (not to point fingers at Vik) for riveting, so get that project going! @lone cat: the auttorifle seems to be done basically replacing the central part of the rifle with a bolt pistol

but from which kits do these boltpistols come from?

I'm glad you like it! Feel free to pilfer the idea Punkow is right. It's a standard SM boltpistol. Some of them are from extra assault marine arms that I had around and some of them are the loose bits from different SM sprues.
