Here's Tobias Fluegel, the first of my honour guard. Experimented with the whole 'chipped metal' look on him. I quite like it. Makes him look like he got the gak kicked out of him, and then kept coming back for more.
Compared to the first Marine, Fluegel's got a thinner torso (made possible by a terminator front torso plate) that is cut higher, allowing for more flexability in posing. This thinner, more agile design will be present in all jump pack marines I make, but I'm not sure if it'll be present in the ground pounders (since they don't need to be as light, obviously).
Rules wise, he'll count as having a flamer and melta. Not their crap pistol variants. He just looks cooler going akimbo. The pose was to make him look as if he just landed from a jump. I'll try and write his fluff in the Gallowsmen topic sometime real soon.
And I just realized that I forgot to paint the front vents on his jump pack. I'll get those next time I paint something.

Brilliant! Loving the 'Grunge' effect. And you're right, Akimbo does look sick.

Absolutely fantastic. The only thing it needs is some scribbles on the purity seals and pauldron parchment. But the pose and colors are lovely and that it's on TS makes me like it even more.

Great looking minature, nice conversion, good pose and excellent painting. Looking forward to seeing all of your honour guard painted like that.

Awesome stuff! Looks like he's going to open a can of Imperial Justice on some xeno scum.
Is there going to be an entire squad of these guys?

Think entire army.
...in time... I've been churning out one a week...
Got two more primed and ready to paint though.
Oh, and for the record, you can read this guy's fluff, along with the rest of the army's fluff, in this topic:

Impressive stuff. Are they all going to have jump packs?

Just the 2 honour guard squads, 2 librarians (or 1... depending if I make the Chapter Master, who I'd run as Mephiston), and Vanguard Vets.
Any tactical squads and sternguard will be strictly ground pounders. However, they'll have heavier looking armour to reflect that (see the first truescale Marine I made).
In addition, only the models with jetpacks will have this grey colour scheme, barring librarians and captains, who would use the Chapter's traditional green. Tactical and Sternguard squads will use green as well. Scouts, Devistators, and Armoured units, with the exception of dreadnaughts would use a dark sand (bleached bone) based scheme. The Chapter Master, were I to model him, would be entirely white.

It's brilliant - Is his jumpack a crisis battlesuit jetpack, or are my eyes deceiving me?

Very nice, although the jump pack is starting to look a little small on him.
