So I was fooling around with ideas as to my VC leader in the new edition, and I decided that I wanted to field Manfred on foot. As I already have the Manfred model, and hate it, I wanted to go in a different direction. Now I'll admit, my first instinct was to convert up a beastly Nagash, and my second was to do up a Constant Drachenfels, which I actually did do and I'll paint that one up someday. However, as I love Harry Potter, and I love adding my own flavor to my Warhammer armies, who better to lead my VC than Tom Marvolo Riddle himself? He's mostly just the Empire Wizard with a few ghoul parts and a piece of clear green plastic bended into a wicked "Avada kedavra."
Any ideas on how to do an Empire Battle Wizard version of Harry?

As for a whole army. I would say try doing trolls, and stuff, maybe death eaters.. Convert things and stuff >.>

What about using a Tau (you know, these noseless smurfs) head and GSing it a little.
Or perhaps it would lack the evil look (noseless smurfs with as much expressiveness as Russel Crowe or Steven Seagall...still don't understand whay they've been released ).

Hmmm... is that, perhaps, because of the Title? Don't you think it just *hints* at Lord Voldemort? In that it says, you know:

Not bad at all, though. I'm not sure about the Spell done with the Plastic. It looks a little warped, melted... awkward, in fact. I'd try twisting it right to the end, to give it some fluid motion and movement, rather than having the two become one.

I love the slag on Edward Cullen haha. I HATE TWILIGHT! Lol.

Well my VC army is already done, I just needed a new leader for 8th Ed, so Death Eaters are kinda out, although I might do up some Necromancers and Vampires with metal masks. The plastic didn't really come out well in the pictures, but I really like how it looks in the real world, and I'm worried about ruining it if I try to bend it much more.

Actually I was just opening up the top ten threads in this section, but now that you've pointed it out I feel a little silly ^_^

That is a sweet conversion. but i am sad that you put harry poter into warhammer as i dont think it deserves all the praise it got. frankly i dont like the idea but the conversion was well done 9/10 because im just glad you didnt use twilight

For me, Warhammer is a perfect medium where I can bring together all the various fantasy elements that I love, from LotR to Avatar (The Last Airbender, not the James Cameron movie). I love the GW fluff, but their universe leaves infinite room for expansion and tongue-in-cheek addition, such as all the Lizardmen Special Character mounts being named after Transformers' Dinobots. Gotta love it. By the way, while I'm on the subject of Avatar, I'm actually working on an "Aang" miniature to use as an Empire Lore of Heavens wizard. So many projects, so little time.

Voldemort can fly without a Broom(and in fact is never seen flying WITH one). See the beginning of the last book.
