Needs highlighting around the face, lots of the colours are blurring for me, perhaps that's the photo tho.

An overall layer of highlights over the whole model would be a good start, at the moment it looks like the last layer was a very heavy wash, which is detracting from the detai.

Probably going to need to do something to bring the eyes out, although it could just be the angle of the picture too.

Lines in general just look like they need to be sharpened up a bit. Like Stompa said, stuff looks like it's blending/smudging together.

I do like the black/bloated look of the tongue - that's a neat effect you've pulled off.

You've got some smudging on the base that needs to be cleaned up. A more interesting base in general might help, but I don't know much about exactly what the regulations are for GD entries.

It looks nice, but remember that GD tends to be crazy about the little details and neatness. I'm sure you've heard it before, but make sure you look at past winners to get an idea of what you need. Heck, look at the 9+ rating picks in the gallery and you'll get an idea of where you need to be.

I'm not like them, but I can pretend.

Observations on complex unit wound allocation: If you're feeling screwed, your opponent is probably doing it right.
