I am playing my first Planet Strike game and decided to do the Castle senerio, and this is the start of my defencive building it took me a whole day to put together. I will plaster this all over and dry wash it and give it a dirty inking to age it. I think I will need more buildings for next months game, just thought to keep you people informed on what is going on. More pics to follow.

Speaking from an opponent trying to use a castle like that, I would put a nice big statue in the center of the yard. Otherwise, anyone can just clear a landing zone with the Bombardment, drop in, and assault you.

Other than that, nice start

I got a Command bunker I will place in the center armed with 3 hvy bolters and a Icarus Cannon turret (twin las-cannons) at no cost

The real secret to modeling good buildings is what you make them from 5mm foam board is real cheap and lasts. Cut tht building walls (basics) 2" high and 4-8" long, biger building you can make bigger walls. Glue with Elmers glue and let dry over night, cut in bastion holes (windows for defencive weapons) and cover in plaster for long durability. Paint a dark brown or black (spray paint works best) and dry brush with white to give it an aged look. Instant mission look. I have been doing it for yrs, I got buildings I made in the 80's in my terrain box and there still in great condition. All my card board buildings from various games are all bent, smashed or torn up. So plastering them keeps them looking good along time.
