So August is over, what did you paint?

This month I oathed 18 Chaos Warriors, 20 Chaos Maruaders, 2 Guardsmen squads, a Guard command squad, and a Leman Russ - not counting the commission I've been doing! So yeah, I've been doing a lot of painting. However, I left the Marauders at my apartment, so they're not in the group photo:

Not super thrilled with how those Chaos dudes came out, but they look okay.

What about you folks?

I painted two units of 15 beastmen with full command and 2 handweapons. Would have got more done but had an old friends stag party and wedding to go to.

Nice painting by the way.

I Painted.... 2 Rat ogres and.... the bodies of 5 Plauge monks... Thats it XD

I haven't had the paitence to paint my other 60 clanrats ¬¬

I painted a chaos marine with a plasma gun

Lets see...

Guard:
-2 command squads
- 5 stormtroopers
-30 guardsmen
-1 rough rider
-2 heavy weapons
-1 chimera

and assorted upgrades to my other vehicles i.e spotlights on LR and the like...

Space Wolves:

-1Drop Pod
-1 Rhino
-4 x wolf guard terminators
-1 Logan Grimnar conversion
-1 grey hunter
-1 wolf scout

A lot of this stuff has stuff i did in previous months lol... grey hunter is the test model for my grey hunters

I got a few Chaos Marines done, I've been spending more time on actually assembling minis. September should be a heavy painting month.

I would. It's a good one. Probably as good as I can do for black armored marines. Black is tough.

Its been a bit of a slow month.

Also assisted in speed painting 25 sanguanary guard.

I painted hum, nothing! Well kind of, I've done touch ups on many old models as I had nothing new to paint, so no entire mini.
I'm waiting on some plasma guns from ebay to assemble my minis.
I'm also getting a FW order together soon, but I won't be modelling much as I'm back in college after a year being sick, I'll probably paint loads of things during Christmas as I'll have a bit over a month of doing nothing else.

BTW srm I really like the style of your minis.

In short, Nothing!

Thats due to lack of fund and just restarting this hobby.

Come next month I should have a decent start to a Tau army

A Tech-Priest for Dark Heresy and my Guard army, five stormtroopers, most of a Valkyrie, two Armored Sentinels with plasma cannons, a few Chaos Marines, a GK Termie, and a Chaos Lord with wings in power armor. Basic colors laid down on one Obliterator, Kharn the Betrayer, and two Commissars with bolt pistols. Have assembled a slew of Guardsmen for yet another platoon.

I'm going to paint a wolf lord tonight.

70 ork boyz, still not done I have 50 more to go.

I've only painted a chaos predator tank this month :(. I have although, converted 2 oblits, 5 death comp, a couple of objectives and fixed my paintbench-thingy so I can paint more models (don't ask how I broke it )

Painted 15 Necrons, 6 Scarabs and a Lord. 10 Space Marine Veterans, a Rhino, a Dreadnought, 6 Bikes, 1 Attack Bike and almost 10 Terminators.

But I also did some stripping; 20 Necrons, 1 Deceiver, 26 Space Marines, 4 Bikes and 3 scouts all by Fairy Power Spray. (In about 2 hours, half a bottle left ) One Attack bike in Dettol for 3 days! So I ditched the dettol and finished with Fairy.

I've always thought it was one of the easiest color schemes to pull off!

I've primed a load of stuff, oh yeah and I've painted the skin and faces on quite a few. That's my lot.

Basecoated and started work on:

well, this august a started my chaos army and started my first blog.

Wow, you painted allot man! From the top of my mind, all I painted this month were:

1/2 Witch Hunters Rhino
1 Cannoness base that I redid
2 Witch Hunter Priests
4 Ogre Kingdoms Gnoblars

And I started with my Ogre Kingdoms Slavegiant, gave him facepaint, painted his collar and did his feet so far.

Good God! I wish i had the time to be that productive. I worked alot of overtime at work this month to finance my up coming GW projects (expanding my Blood Angels army, expanding my Eldar army, starting a Imp Guard army). Sorry I dont have pics, I just dont have the time to take them but I finished:

-5 Man Terminator Assault Sqd
-1 Sanguinary Priest
-1 Land Speeder
-2 Death Company Marines

Looking foward to a much more productive Sept. I am dropping the ot at work but I have classes again, so hopefully I'll have more time to paint. My goal is:

-1 Sanguinary Priest

Its alot to ask, especially with football starting too...but im gonna try to stay focused!

Primed and painted some camo on a few IG tanks, thats about it.

Not alot this month as i've been busy with music commitments.

Got plenty of stuff sculpted though and some bases built for some display pieces. Also managed to squeeze in a couple of last minute Discworld minis for a review in Irregular Magazine.

I don't really do monthly projects. Mine are larger scope and take a larger period of time. That being said I finished my summer project. It was supposed to go from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I finished it a week early, I completed 2000 points of Blood Angels. Built, painted and based.

I'm with some of the others here- I try and plan but I don't have a set monthly schedule... although I am surprised at what I ended up finishing this past month...
