Here's a picture of the models I have heading my way. (these are a photoshop of the models from the GW site... the models I'm getting are unpainted)

I want to use the purple and white scheme, but I recently had a horrible experience with washing brown over white... how can I accomplish this paint scheme?
Any advice is appreciated!

Build up the base coat with the secondary colour you want, eg for purple go astro grey + a purply blue mix, then start building up the highlights to pure white.

A wash in between every 2 layers of white will help merge the colour gaps, but dont wash over the final white finish or it will be ruined.

With painstaking application of 5... 10... 20 coats of paint.

Reaper triads are great for these schemes, dark elf skin or blue-violets triads are pretty good. For the white parts use an off-white color to base then build up very, very slowly with a lot of coats and blend them as best you can.

This scheme takes forever, use acrylic retarder and good luck!

EDIT- Or start off-white and wash with ink.

I think I'd like to start with a basecoat of white, then apply a wash, then highlight back up to white... What wash color should I use?

I wanna go back to New Jersey

I'd suggest having a white base and build up on it with a few drybrushes of Fortress Gray and Space Wolves Gray. Then, as Raeg said, wash with Leviathan Purple.

Here's some painted models so far. I conceptualized for a while and started thinking... my girlfriend plays eldar, and how cool would it be if i painted the daemons like they used to be eldar... twisted by the sexual vices of Slaanesh.... with that in mind, i thought i wanted them to look kindof bondage S&Mish.... as well as maintaining the fact that fluff wise, slaanesh daemons are supposed to change colors with the moods of slannesh.... sooooooooooooo. this is what I came up with... hope you like them!!!

I love the demon and these other daemonettes seem less... grainy I guess is the word.

Games Workshop has the white and purple scheme state by stage on their website: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?catId=cat440166a&pageMode=multi&categoryId=1700001§ion=&pIndex=1&aId=11600016&start=2

They're still pretty grainy, sorry. That primer makes it look like you didn't even bother to thin your paints :\.

I used a crappy primer on the first set of Daemonettes, and when i realized they were turning out "grainy" or "fuzzy" or whatever, i stripped them and recoated them with better primer. but yeah, they looked like crap before... look for my soul grinder next. I'll post him on this thread when I'm done

The skin tone on your evil ladies looks great! My only suggestion would be to layer in more washes to shade recessed areas during the painting process. Clearly you are fine with highlights!
