Hey, so in case you haven't seen the SW and BA CHALLENGE, here's the story. I've got a load of models left over from my big armies, and I'm looking for fun little army projects where I can spend lots of time converting each model. There's also been a run of 1000pt tournaments around these parts so I'm liking the idea of fun little armies. Sooooo. Here's the challenge.

Build a list. ANY Space Marine Codex. 1000pts. No Named Characters. Keep it at least slightly competitive but most importantly, AS FEW MODELS AS POSSIBLE....

If I can fit the whole army into a REALLY small box, I can take it with me on tour and paint while I'm away....

Here's the original SW thread - http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/291767.page - the smallest we got was 7 models by jcd386 - but that included SCs. Without SC's, we got 16 by Unholy_Martry, and Demogerg came up with a 24-model fantastic tourney list.

For BA - http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/291990.page - Schwartz managed 18 models.

This time, any Space Marines will do - so BT, BA, SW, DA, SM or even Daemonhunters - gotta use up those spare models!

I think I've added these up right; I'm not familiar with this codex.

I wouldn't like to run this list against anything with any CC ability, though due to the Thunder Hammers' initiative hit and low body count.

Ok this is a bit cheesy since Deamonhunters is an old dex. This should be viable in a game but not sure of a tourney.
