Hey guys,
I've just completed my first HQ model, and I was hoping that you could give your comments and criticisms.
Also, please vote on them, if you wouldn't mind.

It's alright for a first HQ model
The cape looks a little flat so maybe give it a wash of Baal Red and then Drybrush the red you used onto the raised parts of the cape.

Not bad at all man,

it could maybe use a dark wash on the armour to bring the details out more....

but very nice.

A great start.

My suggestion is that you can do a lot to really crank up the gold on the figure very easlily. I'm going to speak in terms of GW colors, substitute as you will.

Looks like you have a darker gold on there (shining gold?), that's perfect.
Drybrush with a lighter (burnished I think) gold.
Wash with sepia.
Light drybrush with burnished gold again once the wash is dry.
Mix 50/50 burnished gold and mithril silver & do a very gentle bit of edge highlighting.

The end result can be very nice. The actual model pops a lot more than this photo shows... but you get the idea.

Some attention needed on the cape and gold, thanks a lot guys.

@Jimmy72nd, I have washed the armour, the poor quality picture doesn't bring it out i think :s

Mostly positive comments though, that makes this newbie happy

Maybe it's just the pics, but you may need to shade the ropes across his chest. It looks like flat colour right now. Still, a very nice attempt.
