Although, if I played you, every time you moved it I would have to picture him struggling to pull the sword out of the ground, then flying up, landing, and stabbing the ground again.

Although, he's pretty old looking, so maybe he's just using it for support.

The posing and painting is fantastic.

My only thing would be that I would paint the plasma coil on his Plasma Pistol. Maybe a contrasting green?

The paintjob is far beyond my meager skill level. Very impressive sir.

I have to say though, the sword, when compared with the stunning gold of the armour, gets a bit lost in the rock... maybe it's just the lighting but I feel that, along with the plasma coils, it could use a touch of colour.

Nice work.

You could do with increasing the contrast on the armour and sword though. Push the highlights and shading and it will look awesome. Some tonal glazes (purple is good) on the armour will help give it some life once you've juiced it up a bit too.

Plas coil and power sword need a good spot colour too, and those mould lines on the plas are a distraction from an otherwise solid effort. Oh, and drill the barrel out.

Just nit-picking in the name of encouragement and improvement, it's still some really good work. Keep it up!

The mould lines on the coil are a right annoyance to remove without damagin the coil itself though. And the rest of that can definitely be classed in the 1% tbh, as they are the little bits you do right at the end, that somehow make the biggest affect on the overall look of the model than any other single percentage.

Oshova - You got a nice set of files, or just knife scraping? Not had a problem damaging them myself, though I understand they can be a bit fiddly if your not very confident with your tools.

Hey guys thanks for your comments and advice

I don't think it's too dull, just parts that should be brighter aren't bright enough. The drops on the shoulder pad for example, and the shining armor is all very muted. I get that it's an effect but just one element (I think the shoulder) should be more crimson. They are BLOOD angels after all.
