I am impressed at the quantity you paint at a time. That can get demoralizing. Well done.

Continuing the push, here's the three 'siege' Russ, now with pennants. These tanks are named after famous Soviet female tank officers of WWII!

And all six lined up:

Some decal work, weathering, and then they'll go on the shelf, so I can bring up all the Chimeras to the same standard.

Then, onto individual details, such as packs, extra armour, making sure everyone has smoke launchers and searchlights, and personal touches for each tank.

Oh, and I've been playing 40K, too! Crazy talk, I know.

Hope everyone out there is having a good time!

And, as a bonus, progress on getting a full set of swappable weapon options, the two older Russii with Vanquisher Cannons and Multimelta sponsons, bow lascannons.

Got a game in, today, rock and roll. My usual dice luck, but the Paskisher did its job, and the two Vanquishers also did their jobs. Got to tarpit FIVE hellbrutes with a 20 man guard squad. THAT was hellafun.

Very pleased you got some satisfaction out of your game. I think you just re-defined "tarpit".

As I.. though the proof will be once we get to playing it. For us who have been there from the start, It's once again learning another way to play 40k. We often get the rules mixed up form edition to edition.

From first impressions it's cleaner, but is it capable of being balanced in match play.

Just waiting on the launch date ( and the cost for all the books - I have quite a few armies)
