So this came from a bedtime story I made up about 6 months ago, about what was essentially "The Little Grot Who Could," whose name was Bugnutz and became a Lil' Mek, culminating in the building of his own Stompa named "Grotzilla." This was an excellent excuse for me to get a Stompa (which I conveniently was awarded for winning a Rogue Trader tournament) and go absolutely apesh*t on it. The finished product will be a lot easier to make out, as it's hard enough to tell what Ork vehicles look like without a metric ton of plasticard and PVC pipe all over them. He also has a base, which is the Battlescape with the wrecked Rhino converted to be a wrecked Predator (as he's holding a Predator turret in his left hand/claw/thing). The only things I still have to do are to add rivets onto the plating on the tail and add a Space Marine hanging out of the turrent shooting his Bolt Pistol at Grotzilla's head.

Next projects: King Kong (I can't really come up with an "Orky" version of that name), and my Looted Warlord Titan, or "Warboss" Titan.

I would add a bit more to the outside top of the upper jaw to make it seem less flat and give it some more 'weight'. tail is ace. did you take any inspiration from Trypticon?

Well I'm glad everyone likes it. I might do something with the head, but for now I'm really anxious to get to painting.

I agree with a more mm beefy jaw i would like a closer look to the hand/klaw/thing with the turret but... hey grotzilla haz arrived to town! and mattew broderick isnt near( thank goodness)

So Grotzilla's done. He turned out pretty much the way I wanted. I'm really happy with the way the rust effects don't overpower everything else, but still kinda tie the whole piece together. All around, I'm really pleased.

You wouldnt happen to have any of the trees from the "base" left over, would you? I managed to loose mine

The rust effect is great, and I like the way the grots pop.

Nice stompa! The weathering to the piece makes it a perfect fit for a ork army! The conversions came out looking magnificent, awesome work!
