My imperial engineers have been busy converting. Search the gallery for "engineer tank" if you wish for some ideas.
With thanks to Percy Hobart.

It is usually customary to post the picture yourself for other to look at, like so:
Is this what you are referring to?

Thanks, but not quite. I'd forgotten how to insert a link, but thought I'd point people in the right direction. My Sentinel Clossus loader that you've shown is actually tagged under "artillery tanks".
Me being IT unfriendly, perhaps you'd be kind and put in a link for our readers?

Are you talking in the character of you engineers or are you specifically referring to engineer-oriented tanks? Automatically Appended Next Post: your subject line is a bit vague...

Try again...includes a fascine carrier/launcher based on a Willich AVRE; a route clearance tank with rocket mine clearing launchers, grab arm and mine rollers; a chimera with mineplough; a missile launcher trailer, as bought, from Toy Soldiers Depot; a missile launcher chimera; and a scratchbuilt Colossus siege gun with Sentinel loader.

The engineering stuff looks good. A nice mix of identifiable gubbins HAve you thought about any more esoteric stuff? What about a psychic field discharge tank with a caged Sanctioned Psyker
The paint scheme is nice and utilitarian, but I think it could do with a wash and a drybrush just to pep it up a bit.

Thanks, they're still really WIPs as I found a new bits supplier and was experimenting.
Photos still to take of assorted diecast ebay relics resurrected as my engineer park transport troop, the IG really needs some wheeled transport.
Currently working on a band for my IG, only a drummer done so far. Anyone else tried this?

Ok, that's what I thought you meant... I remember learning about British AVREs and Amerian engineer's tanks a long time ago, probably why I thought the Vindicator was a cool tank, short barrel, big bore, lots of materiel destruction!
Very nice tanks, would be cool to incorporate them in a massive battle, maybe like techmarine tanks?

If you like tech tanks, I've some old "Thunderbirds" models (Firefly, Mole etc) I use with a AdMech army. Will organise more pics today.
More bits en route from supplier, so I'm thinking of maybe a Flail tank this time.
Ref AVREs, I was in the unit that trialled the Willich Avre, basically a Chieftain gun tank with the turret removed, a couple of lengths of railway track and a winch nailed on, and either a mineplough or dozer on the front.
It did what it was meant to, not pretty though.

Nice conversions.
I agree with Flinty about detailing the paint job a bit. Decals would add visual interest too.

As a method for crossing ditches or trenches, it's still in use.
All that's changed is that fascines used to be bundled wood, but that blocked drainage and caused flooding, the pipe fascines cured that. Try "Chieftain AVRE" on Youtube for vids of it in action, or Google for more info.
