i am working on a display model of a sanguinary guard flying above a lake and shooting,with some shells sinking or falling in the water.
i have ordered 1 sanguinary guard of ebay, i have ordered some of those nifty(yes i said nifty)scale shells from secret weapons miniatures
already have the base done,except part of the water effects.

this is just the base so far.
i will be adding water into the areas surrounded be tape.
so comments and critisism would help?

'Your killing me Smalls!' How do you not know how to post pics. Id love to see a pic of your diorama....it sounds excellent. In the mean time I will check out these scale shells for minis you speak of.

when posting , use add attachments bottom of the screen. your idea sounds cool, will be interesting to see what water effect ou go for.

woke up this morning and saw that some of the water effects had shrunk is so no i have a big cavity in it.
oh well,i filled it in.now another 12 hours of waiting for it to dry.
and today i got the wooden plinth to put the base on.

it's a little cloudy but it still has a little bit of drying left.

Pretty cool idea. Definitely looking good so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out. You've certainly got a good eye for detail on those bases.

i got the scale shells this afternoon.i finnished the nmm gold.still working on the other part of the sanguinary guard.
