Cain here with another P&M blog for all you people with a craving for terrain!

I chose to make a separate blog for all this stuff that I am pouring out so that it is a bit more organised. So, without further ado 'ere we go

First up I have started my small imperial tomb with a few coffins (inspired by madmarty on his COD blog)

I am also starting a xenos lab with lots of nice grisly slimy bits

And finally, I have decided to make up some objective markers for my armies. This will be one for the Blood Angels

great stuff , Commander, i alread said how much i like your valk , no harming in saying again though, but i will say nice work on the xenos cylindr capsule, it looks grim! can only imagine what escaped :-0 with the valk , i can imagine the crash trail being a bit longer than you have it though, maybe its because there is a building very close to where it starts and ends, unless it fell nearly vertical through the building that is doh!, looks like a big painting job at an rate.

Yeah, I have demolished the building a lot more now. There is hardly anything left of the front now!

Next up is a giant artillery piece for the DKoK. I have not really thought much about it but superglue containers will be the main part of the gun

The tube was simply a superglue container, just like the ones you can buy at a dollar store.

THE CHOCOLATE SMOOTHY HAS ESCAPED THE SMOOTHY MAKER!!!! lol. Jokes aside good work... Looking at your crashed valk i was thinking a cool theme for a table would be a huge ship crash with the furrow running all the way across the board. Shed cargo and the like would function as cover.

Thought you might be interested to see this little piece I just whipped up. It is a radar ATM, but when I have finished the artillery piece, it will be the thing that lifts the massive shells for the gun.

the xeno tube looks super cool. how did you do that splatter effect inside?
also vry convinient to have a streetlatern near by when you crash with your valk^^. so even when its dark you´ll find your way...

i like the idea of your sarcophargs. tho i have to ask: do i see boobs there?^^
no seriously thats a great collection of terrain you put together. and the lifterarm looks very promising. what did you use to built it?
hope to see much more, vik

Nice work mate. Particularly impressed with the bio lab escape.

Can I make a suggestion on the altar? Perhaps shave the ornamentation off the sheath of the knife and sculpt the blade up with some runes etc or something on it. I think it'd fit the theme with the blood pooling etc and give you the chance to create some really nice effects when painting it? Either way, it's totally sweet! Nice work!

Vik- the lifter was made from some bastion parts (Las gun and trap-door) and the landing foot off a valkyrie. And the splatter effect was made with brown ink splashed inside the container (it was see-through)

Also, I must point out that it is not actually blood on the altar, the parts were made of red plastic and it has simply not been sprayed black if you understand what I mean. Most of the parts in the marker are from the space hulk set with the exception of the dagger that comes from the death company set.

Thanks for the comments folks!
