Sooo...
Recently my brother was looking through my bits and wanted to put together a CSM and I told him I had no legs, but he could try to find something.
He found a body that I had made a while back out of two chest pieces, one filed and modified to hold a backpack and a few other random pieces.
He argued with me saying that he saw some legs in there and I said the only ones I have was a set of spare BloodLetter Legs from when I lost a piece to my blood letter set.

So we had the body, the legs and what for the rest?
I decided since the legs where bloodletter, why not make the arm the same?

I asked him what kind of weapon he thought would look cool and he looked through my 'dex and models, finding a combi-melta very interesting. BIG PROBLEM, I had none. So I had to convert that as well.
I found a possessed head, and the top part of a blood letter head so I stuck it onto the backpack after adding tank-cannon bits to the SM backpack a friend gave me.

The results ended up looking like this.
Sorry for the long winded creation of this guy. I need names if you have any suggestions.

Currently I just call him my possessed Lord with a combi-melta and power/daemon weapon








UPDATE:
I was getting this model to look at and he fell out of my hand. His current state is:
Broken

His combi-Arm fell off, the combi came off his hand
his backpack came off as well.
So now he looks like a chicken with his wings cut off

It was the only way to make an SM backpack look chaotic-ish.

What kit are they from? I'd like to use them myself. Love easy swaps that look clean.

Ditto on not feeling the legs or arm, but it looks like a fun model to assemble and play.

I like him. He's like a tiny daemon prince, just starting out, before he grows up.

Box of blood letters, Predator box and possessed from the battle force. Lots of chopping up for melta btw.

I like this model a lot. Reminds me of the old RT Chaos Gifts.

The conversion itself is well done. The lines are very clean, the seams come together nicely, and the theme is solid. I'm looking forward to seeing it completed.

The number of Khorne is eight. Give him a name with eight letters. If he ever ascends to Daemonhood change his name to eight syllables.

interesting bash creation. I agree with some of the posters about the legs. Its a good idea, but you might consider bulking up the thighs with some green stuff or something.

Thanks. And I didn't know that Khorne's number was eight, now that I know I will definatly think about it.

@Element206:Have no green stuff and no longer live very close to a store. That and buying it online is just a bit too expensive compared to actually getting to a store.

Im not too keen on the mini unfortunately. It looks all out of proportion. Weapons look like 2 handed weps (look too big for just one hand), the backpack sides are huge (but you could get away with this) and as said already, the legs look kinda small.

The problem with "chicken" legs is they double behind the model which can make the legs too small. If you can make the legs a little longer and thicker it would look better. Even more so if you can put some armour on them.

The demon arm looks wimpy, as mentioned. Thicken that up as well. Some spikes could help. Spikes always help. Mmm spikes.

I do like the suggestion and will consider it.
I will see if my brother will let me use some of his unused nid pieces for armor.
As for 'beefing' up the legs and arms, well I would need green stuff and I don't have any and don't really have access to it currently.
As mentioned before I will consider this before I call this guy 'done.'

This whole thing looks really cobbled together. The spindly daemon legs are an interesting idea, but look awful. The combi-melta is really uneven - try smoothing parts of it out with green stuff. The backpack is a mess, with way too much crap sticking out every which way.

Less is more dude, less is more.
